Revelation 16 = Seven cups of wrath ; Seven Plagues

Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying
to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out
the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven
angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who
liveth for ever and ever.

Greek for 2372 WRATH
thumos {thoo-mos'}
passion, anger BOILING up

This corresponds with the Hebrew
word for wrath:
[05678 ebrah-wrath] ebrah
which means poured
out and burbling over

There are similar words for anger,
and wrath, in both Hebrew and Greek,
but, these are specific to the cup
of the Lord's indignation.

A different word is used in 16:19:
Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts,
and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came
in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of
the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

[3709] wrath orge
This word, orge, is used to denote actual
punishment, or plagues, which are the final
result of the cup of indignation, flowing over.

The plagues are analogous to the 10 plagues in Exodus 7:11
  • Plague 1 - Blood / Revelation 16:3
  • Plague 2 - Frogs / Revelation 16 :3
  • Plague 3 - Gnat
  • Plague 4 - Flies / Lord of the Flies- Beelzebub
  • Plague 5 - Disease in Livestock / Madcow disease

  • Plague 6 - Boils / Revelation 16:2
  • Plague 7 - Hail / Revelation 16:21
  • Plague 8 - Locusts / Revelation 9
  • Plague 9 - Darkness /Revelation 16:10
  • Plague 10 - Death of Firstborn /

Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the
men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon]
them which worshipped his image.

Image of the beast: ICON
- from the Greek eikon.

Greek for 1504
eikon {i-kone'}
Usually refers to Holy Images, or "Icons"

This usually refers to Godly icons,
particularly Christ. In this passage,
icon means the antichrist, the beast,
and satan.

noisome - 4 references in OT and NT.
3 in OT. 1 in NT.

Psa 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare
of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence.

Eze 14:15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through
the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that
no man may pass through because of the beasts:

Eze 14:21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more
when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the
sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the
pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

Rev 16:3 And the second angel angel poured out his vial upon the sea;
and it became as the blood of a dead [man]: and every living
soul died in the sea
.

Blood-

[129strongs] haima

refers to blood and grape
juice- wine.

Exd 7:20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD
commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the
waters that [were] in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh,
and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that
[were] in the river were turned to blood.

Exd 7:21 And the fish that [was] in the river died; and
the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the
water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the
land of Egypt.

dam {dawm}
Blood and WINE

Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers
and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Fountains in Greek -4077
pege {pay-gay'}

1) fountain, spring

2) a well fed by a spring

Fountains has a "cascading" etymology.
It's literal meaning is the water table,
and rain from heaven:
Gen 8:2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows
of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

The Hebrew word for "waters" is "Ma'yim"
"Fountains" "Ma'yan" and "Mah'yaw-naw'"

Ma'yan *masculine.*, fountain of WATER

Clean
___
OR______
mah-yaw-naw' *feminine*
Unclean
______________
fountain-
>BLOOD
(monthly period...A symbol of mortal "uncleanliness" BY THE LAW.)
strongs 04599

From the literal, it is often used in metaphor:
Psa 36:9 For with thee [is] the fountain of life: in thy light
shall we see light.

Psa 68:26 Bless ye God in the congregations, [even]
the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

Fountain, wellspring, and water are used as
a metaphor of life:

Jer 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake
thee shall be ashamed, [and] they that depart from me
shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken
the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Joe 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that]
the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills
shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow
with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house
of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

The Valley of Shittim refers to the Dead Sea.
Joel, the prophet, prophesizes about the water
under the throne of God in Jerusalem, literally
healing all the poisoned waters in the Dead
Sea. The great Prophet, Ezekiel saw the THRONE
as it will be, with living waters going forth. This is the
imagery of The Tree of Life, being watered next to
the THRONE (thronos/seat) of the LORD, from under
the temple.

Is this surprising? The LORD has already turned
the desert of Palestine into Zion, His bride.

Eze 47:1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door
'of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under
the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the
house [stood toward] the east, and the waters came down from
under from the right side of the house, at the south [side] of the altar.

Zec 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened
to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem
for sin and for uncleanness.

In Zechariah, this great verse is the salvation
of the Jews, in the 2nd Coming, (for the Gentiles)
and the regrafting of the seed of Abraham and Sarah
into the Tree of Life .

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the
fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous,
O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast
judged thus. (Lord, you are worthy!)

Rev 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and
prophets,
and thou hast given them blood to
drink; for
they are worthy.
[129strongs blood- greek] haima
haima (blood) refers
to the SLAIN.

Blood and wine are metaphorically
interchangeable.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying,
Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because
she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath
of her fornication.

[3631strongs]oinos
=>SPECIFICALLY WINE OF WRATH

Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so,
Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] thy
judgments.

Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun;
and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed
the name of God, which hath power over these plagues :
and they repented not to give him glory.

Taking the Lord's name in vain, and
blaming Him.

Blasphemy Greek for 987
blasphemeo {blas-fay-meh'- o}
to speak reproachfully, rail at, revile, calumniate,

Blasphemy of the LORD is death:
Lev 24:16
And he that blasphemeth the name
of the LORD, he shall surely be put
to death, [and] all the congregation
shall certainly stone him: as well the
stranger, as he that is born in the land,
when he blasphemeth the name [of the
LORD], shall be put to death.
Blasphemy- (hebrew)
naquab {naw-kab'}
Means to pierce, strike through, curse God

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the
beast
; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they
gnawed their tongues for pain,

Beast- Therion

Greek for 2342
therion {thay-ree'-on}
Bestial in nature

Seat=Thronos (THRONE)- OF THE BEAST

Thronos Therion? (KEY- 3rd Church Pergamos)

Therion means creature, and often
heavenly, or infernal beast, v kitty cats.

It can be used colloquial for Satan, the
snake/dragon/alligator beast in these
contexts: (. MARDUK.)

In Godly context, BEAST can refer to
CHERUBIMs that surround the
LORD's THRONE. This "Beast"
is typically the synonomous ZOON

And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying
to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out
the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts (Dzo on') gave
unto the seven angels seven golden vials
full of the wrath of God, who liveth for
ever and ever.

beast
animal beast
more than
supernatural abomination beast like Marduk
zoon {dzo'-on}
Therion (beast) is deliberately more focused
on the bestial aspect of it's meaning,
vs. the Cherubims' ZOON (beast).

The etymology of the two words are deliberately
contrasted to provide a balance between the
divine and the damned, natural and unnatural.

Eze 10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament
that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared
over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the
likeness of a throne.

CONTEXT-
In Daniel , Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, is driven
mad and becomes a beast, for 7 years, until the LORD
restored his mind.

Dan 4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and
did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew
of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' [feathers], and
his nails like birds' [claws].

Satan's seat = seat of the beast (Throne)

Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even]
where Satan's seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and
hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas
[was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan
dwelleth.

Satan's throne - PERGAMOS - Third Candlestick/Church

Pergamos is on the west coast of Turkey, facing Cyprus
and Greece.

Pergamos has mixed blessings. The LORD's NAME is the "sharp
two-edged sword"

\(Every church has it's own unique set of commands!)

This church was guilty of the fusion of the Jealousy
(Cult of Isis), perverting Christianity even further
by profane philosophies of the Nicolaitans, who were
cynical gnostics.

Is this verse literal? Will Turkey be obliterated by
nuclear fusion, or brimstone?

Do we continue to decode? Does Pergamos in Turkey
represent America or a Middle-Eastern kingdom, and
John needed a way to portray what he saw?

Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their
pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river
Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way
of the kings of the east might be
prepared.
KING FROM THE EAST- (Duality) Simultaneously
refers to The LORD, "The Morning Star,"
representing His Return.

Kings of the east:
Jos 12:1 Now these [are] the kings of the land, which
the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land
on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun,
from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the
plain on the east:

Isa 41:2 Who raised up the righteous [man] from the east,
called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made
[him] rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword,
[and] as driven stubble to his bow.

Euphrates -

Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river [is] Hiddekel:
that [is] it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And
the fourth river [is] Euphrates.
Euphrates means- "Fruitfulness"
P@rath {per-awth'}
A river in Syria, which rises in the mountains of Armenia, and southward of babylon where it unites with the Tigris, and empties into the Persian Gulf.

Gen 15:18
In the same day the LORD made
a covenant with Abram, saying,
Unto thy seed have I given this land,
from the river of Egypt unto the great
river, the river Euphrates:

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs
[come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of
the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

FROGS- Second plague in EGYPT

[3664] homois

Frogs are only mentioned in the Bible in reference
to the second plague in Egypt, and then this unique
reference in Rev.

The Hebrew word for frogs,
(ts) z@phardea`
has a corresponding meaning which is "that which
leaps from a marsh."

The "unclean spirits," leaping from the marshy
muck of the beast, and dragon, and the false
prophet, the unholy trinity, are analogous to
the 2nd plague in Egypt, the plague of frogs.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
[which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the
whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great
day of God Almighty.

"Day of God Almighty"- Day of the LORD.

There are hundreds of references in OT about
the Day of the LORD, starting with Isaiah:

Isa 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts [shall be]
upon every [one that is] proud and lofty, and upon every
[one that is] lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Isa 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD [is] at hand;
it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel
both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate:
and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood, before the great and the
terrible day of the LORD come.

Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:
for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.

DAY OF THE LORD IN SCRIPTURE

The last "Day of the LORD" in the Old Testament
is in Malachi, the prophet:

Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before
the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

The Day of the LORD - Compensates for the
HOLY SABBATH that was blasphemed.

THIS IS VITAL TO UNDERSTANDING
THE DAY OF THE LORD!

Exd 20:10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the
LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou,
nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is]
within thy gates:

Exd 20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the
seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.

Exd 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh
[is] the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth
[any] work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Exd 35:2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh
day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest
to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therin shall
be put to death
.

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth,
and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they
see his shame.

Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman
of the house had known in what watch the thief
would come, he would have watched, and would
not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air;
and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven,
from the throne, saying, It is done.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received
the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed
his head, and gave up the ghost.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings;
and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since
men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and]
so great.

Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the
cities of the nations felll: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the wine
of the fierceness of his wrath.

I love this iconical painting.
I think it's a cool representation.
Especially welldone is the whore,
dressed like a queen in purple,
a scarlet sash, and embroidery.

Exd 26:1 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle [with] ten curtains [of] fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: [with] cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.

Exd 26:36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the
door of the tent, [of] blue, and purple, and scarlet,
and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.

Clever.

The halo-ish helmet on the
whore, is similar to paintings
of the saints and madonna
in the old style.

The only way to understand
the whore is to read the
Book of Hosea, the prophet.

Hosea 1:2The beginning of the word of the LORD
by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea,
Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms
and children of whoredoms: for the land
hath committed great whoredom,
[departing] from the LORD.

"Hosea" means "Salvation." It's the same
Hebrew word for JOSHUA, Yeshua, and
similar to Jesus Christ's Hebrew name.
It's the family name of Joshua, the son
of Nun. (The one annointed by Moses to
lead the Hebrews into the Promised Land.)

Hosea was the 19th and last king of the
Northern Kingdom of Israel. (Where
Megiddo is.)

During Hosea's life, in the N. Kingdom,
God dramatizes the fall of Israel
spectacularly, especially with Jezebel,
Queen of Israel, Elijah, and the Prophets.
Elijah was the Prophet for Israel, the
N. Kingdom where Megiddo is, and
proximal to Gallilee.

Beth-el was the Jerusalem of the North.
It was so named by Abraham, where the
LORD appeared to him, then to his grandson
Jacob. It was very HOLY.

By the time of the Kings of Israel's last days,
Beth-el was completely adulterated with
provocations of the Jealousy, the abomination
where the place where the Lord stood.

It was where the Israelites venerated the
"Golden Calf" part of the Isis cult.

The once holy land was desecrated by
the abomination, and then destroyed,
by Babylon. Israel went into captivity
to Babylon for 70 years.
...

"Great Babylon" is different than
original Babylon. Many of us think it's
the U.S.A.

Dan 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon,
that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of
my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts,
and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine
of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, [every stone]
about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of
the plague of hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding
great.

A talent was about 100 pounds.

Hail, hell....literal. The first death is no death,
even after being irradiated.

This revelation is harmonious with Rev. 9:6
Rev 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and
shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall
flee from them.
