Revelation 10- The Mighty Angel - Christ

Rev 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Christ

Cloud- He is coming with the clouds!
He was a pillar of cloud during the day,
and a pillar of fire, during the night.

Mar 14:61

Mar 14:62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mar 14:63Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
Clothed with the cloud and rainbow.

Pillar/s of fire- Skekinah Adonai- The Lord who
went before Moses in the wilderness, as a pillar
of fire.

Exd 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud,
to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light;
to go by day and night:

Moses knew the Messiah, in the Angel of the Lord,
and this is Jesus Christ, of the Gentiles, son of Mary,
the son of David.

Exd 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD
looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and
of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

The rainbow is the arc of the covenant, the
same as the original arc of the covenant in
Genesis 9.

Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that [is] upon the earth.

Rev 10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth,

Ezekiel 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.TinyPic" border="0">

Here are a few of the numerous OT counterparts for
perspectives on God's book, which has multiple
meanings, both literal and metaphorical:

Eze 2:9 And when I looked, behold, an hand [was] sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book [was] therein;

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Rev 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried,
seven thunders uttered their voices.

LION OF JUDAH-
Jacob's Blessing in Genesis. Judah was his 4th son,
son of his first wife, Leah. He is the royal seed, not
the first son, or Joseph, his most spectacular prophet
son.

Gen 49:9 Judah [is] a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

Balaam's inadvertant blessing in Numbers, and understanding
of God as a lion:

Num 24:9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed [is] he that blesseth thee, and cursed [is] he that curseth thee.

Pro 20:2 The fear of a king [is] as the roaring of a lion: [whoso] provoketh him to anger sinneth [against] his own soul.

As in most key words, "lion" can have opposite meaning,
describing oppressors of the faithful.

Psa 22:13 They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

In Psalm 22, depicting Christ on the cross, Christ the Savior
is portrayed as the Lamb of God, being compassed and
surrounded by ravenous lions.

In ancient times, especially during the Apostolic First
Century Church, Christians were often torn apart alive,
by hungry lions.

It ties in with Daniel in the lion's den. Many metaphors,
lessons, and symbols, overlap to provide an even more
glorious harmony of all important principles and histories.

Rev 10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which
the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book,
[even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge
shall be increased.

Like Daniel, John is told to seal up the revelation.
It is due to the uniqueness of the event. It would
have no meaning to the ancients, and until it
happens, it will have no former counterpart.

Rev 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
The Alpha and Omega, Hashem Adonai Aleftav.
Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

The Lord swears by the Lord, who created heaven
and earth, the sea and sky, fish and snake, and
the warmblooded mammals and man. This is the
flip side of Creation. This is the end of the week,
measured in millenia.

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin
to sound
, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath
declared to his servants the prophets.

Rev 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go [and] take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

Rev 10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

Numbers 5:23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:

Our intercessions are in that book,
as are our tears.

Psa 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears
into thy bottle: [are they] not in thy book?

Rev 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Rev 10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
