Genesis 14 = Give Peace a Chance. The First war in Iraq

Figure of that which is to come....
(Pictured are Abraham and Melchizadec,
King of Jerusalem, the Prince of Peace.)

This is Pre-incarnate Christ, Our LORD,
who is the physical manifestation of
the Spirit of God. It is through Him that
everything that is, *IS*.

That's why Abraham TITHED 1/10th of his
wealth to him. He was a man who walked,
talked and saw the Angel of the LORD. He
recognized Melchizadec, because he is our
HIGH Priest. in Moses, and our LORD, the
Lion of Judah. He is our everlasting KING in
Jerusalem.

He has ordained all those baptised with
fire, and our hope is to serve Him, in eternal
Brotherhood, in Love, in the Order of Melchizadec:
The Righteous King; Our Savior; Kodesh Aleftav Amen.

Hbr 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is
ordained for men in things [pertaining] to God, that he may
offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

Hbr 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an
high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son,
to day have I begotten thee.

Before this, Abraham lived in the land that
Lot eschewed for more lush land. Lot chose the
choicest valley, with the highest real estate value,
for riches in wellsprings and natural resources.

The kings of nine different tribal lands wanted the
plains of Jordan, where Lot set up his little princedom.
10 different families fought for this land.

Nu?

Ancient Babylon and Mesopotamia

Gen 14:1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of
Shinar, (babylon/ninevah) Arioch king of Ellasar,
Chedorlaormer king of Elam, and Tidal king of
nations;

Gen 14:2 [That these] made war with Bera king of Sodom,
and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah,
and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela,
which is Zoar.

Gen 14:3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim,
which is the salt sea. (The Dead Sea)

Gen 14:4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the
thirteenth year they rebelled.

Gen 14:5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer,
and the kings that [were] with him, and smote the
Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in
Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

Gen 14:6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan,
which [is] by the wilderness.

Gen 14:7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which
[is] Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites,
and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.

Gen 14:8 And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king
of Gomorrah,
and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim,
and the king of Bela (the same [is] Zoar;) and they joined battle
with them in the Vale of Siddim;

Gen 14:9 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king
of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king
of Ellasar; four kings with five.

Gen 14:10 And the vale of Siddim [was full of] slimepits; and the
kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and
they that remained fled to the mountain.

Slimepits are where well spring water was nearby,
so, it was desirable, desirable land.

Wellspring water is life to bedoins, and it
is the basis to build a community around.
It becomes a metaphor for life, itself, and
so much more!

But, when the table water is taken away,
and there is great thirst, in a land, even
gold and silver cannot buy a cure.

The glory of God's Salvation is when
Jerusalem, poisoned by radiation, will
be restored, and not only will the water
be clean, a river will flow from beneath
the old Temple, and carry fresh water
which HEALS.

The Dead Seas will come alive.
This is both metaphor for nations,
and literal, found in the Millenium
model of Jerusalem, under our Savior's
Throne in Ezekiel 48.

Gen 14:11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah,
and all their victuals, and went their way.

Gen 14:12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who
dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

Gen 14:13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the
Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite,
brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these [were]
confederate with Abram.
Hebron

Gen 13:18 Then Abram removed [his] tent, and came
and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which [is] in Hebron,
and built there an altar unto the LORD.

Gen 23:2 And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same [is]
Hebron
in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to
mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

Gen 23:19 And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife
in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the
same [is] Hebron in the land of Canaan.

Gen 35:27 And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto
Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which [is] Hebron,
where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

Gen 14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was
taken captive, he armed this trained[servants],
born in his own house, three hundred and 18

Am I my brother's child's keeper?

OFF TOPIC BUT INTERESTING:
This is a verse that gives away the author of the
Pentateuch. Moses is given credit, but, many
believe Joshua wrote it, because the last Book,
Joshua has identicle syntax throughout.

The author of Genesis 14:14 (IN THE ORIGINAL
MASORETIC TEXTS TRUE TO THE KJV) says
that Abraham chased him into "DAN" which wasn't
around until after Moses. The tribal land of Dan was
established under Joshua.

More importantly, these words have never lost their
power. Glory to God the Highest, and to our Savior,
To our High Priest and King of Jerusalem:
Christ Jesus, the Holy Lamb of our Covenant.

(Because it's a fluke, I peaked into a deeper layer.
Here's a spontaneous "Dan" study:)

DAN
Hebrew for 01835
MEANS JUDGE
pronounced "Dawn"

Gen 30:6 And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.

Gen 35:25 And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

Gen 46:23 And the sons of Dan; Hushim.

Gen 49:16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
This is Jacob's blessing on Dan.

Gen 49:17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
This is Dan's alternate blessing/curse/blessing.

Exd 1:4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

(back to regular broadcast)

Gen 14:15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by
night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which
[is] on the left hand of Damascus.

There is infinite poignancy in this war blurb.
Abram, an old man, armed himself, and all his
paid workmen, and built an army. They risked
their lives to go after their "BROTHER" Lot.

BLOOD.

Gen 14:16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his
brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

Gen 14:17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return
from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that [were]
with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which [is] the king's dale.

Hebrews 5:10 Called of God an high priest
after the order of Melchizedec.

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine:
and he [was] the priest of the most high God.
MelchizadecHebrew for 04442
Malkiy-Tsedeq {mal-kee-tseh'-dek}
King of Righteousness
(Str. & Ges.)

Gen 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most
high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth
bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God.

1Ch 16:39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests,
before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that [was]
at Gibeon,

Hbr 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most
high
God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of
the kings, and blessed him;

Gen 14:21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons,
and take the goods to thyself.

Gen 14:22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine
hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor
of heaven and earth,

Gen 14:23 That I will not [take] from a thread even to a shoelatchet,
and that I will not take any thing that [is] thine, lest thou
shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

Gen 14:24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion
of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let
them take their portion.
