BRING UPON-
Genesis 18:19 For I know him, that he will command
his children and his household after him, and
they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do
justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring
upon
Abraham that which he hath spoken of.

God has sanctified Abraham, his sons,
and his sons through circumcision.
He will bring upon Abraham all the
blessings he has promised him.

Conversely, God also uses this
expression to bring upon, and
accomplish destruction, for
unfaithfulness.

He promises diseases, and all
afflictions of the flesh, for
unfaithfulness:

Deu 28:60 Moreover he will bring upon thee
all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid
of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

Deu 28:61 Also every sickness, and every plague,
which [is] not written in the book of this law, them
will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be
destroyed.

Deu 29:27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled
against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that
are written in this book:
