Much of Revelation deals in FIRST and LAST
archetypes. John's prophecy deals with symbols
of his faith and religion.

So when John is prophecizing about the red dragon
in the great sea, it is the red dragon, relevent to his
own gestault. The red dragon is the first snake,
the original one, or that old serpent. "archuous"
which is "the first."

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the
Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

This dragon is the mighty crocodile from the Nile:

crocodile from Nile

Hebrew God in animal symbols, as in the lion and lamb.

Egyptians attributed godlike character to
different animals, like the Hebrews. God
is described as a conquering and gentle lion,
and sacrificial lamb. Christ was the brass
serpent, etc.
In the same way, Egyptians assigned analogous
symbols, only they regarded them as more than
symbols. They washed the baby, threw out the baby,
and worshipped the bathwater.

ISHTAR GATE
The striding dragon formed part of the decoration of one of the
gates of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar, whose name appears in the
Bible as the despoiler of Jerusalem (King II 24:10 - 16, 25:8-15),
ornamented the monumental entrance gate dedicated to Ishtar,
the goddess of love and war, and the processional street leading
to it with scores of pacing glazed brick animals: on the gate were
alternating tiers of Marduk's dragons and bulls of the weather god
Adad; along the street were the lions sacred to Ishtar. All this
brilliant decoration was designed to create a ceremonial entrance
for the King in religious procession on the most important day of
the New Year's Festival. (The New Year's Festival is combined
in Christmas, the original celebration for Marduk, as the
virgin birth of the sungod. That's why Christmas is an
abomination. Christ was probably born during the High
HEBREW Holidays in September-Octorber)

Representation of Nimrod, as a "super-hero"
archetype.

The real Nimrod:
Marduk, Sargon I of Arkkad (Ninevah/Babylon)
built the tower in Babel. He was symbolized by his
ubiquitous crocodilian familliars. He is called
Nimrod in the Book of Genesis. He was the first
world leader, and he was worshipped as a god.
His companion, Semiramis, is the original
prototype of the Whore of Babylon.

MARDUK- Sargon I, King of Ninevah built the Tower of Babel

The great images of Revelation, are meant to
be the totality of all exegesic symbologies,
embracing every nuance of the classical
words and verses.

The only way to understand the Great
White Throne Judgment, is to develop
a personal dialogue with God, and having
Him show us, through these very words.
Bereans

Revelation 20 can trip your mind.

It's all about words.

The alligator/croc's hide, innards, and every
part of him was valuable in trade. Most prized
by the ancients, was an oil, that was used for
annointing the High Priest/King (Egyptian.)
This word loosely translated, "massa" is thought
to be the starting point, in the etymology
of "Messiah."

The Hebrew king, and High Priest, including
Messiah Ye'shua HaMashiach, was annointed
with a special annointing oil, from the apothecary
of God's measurements.

God prescribed beaten olive oil annointings,
scented with a mystical combination of spices,
spices, curses and blessings. It was what was
mirrored from the Egyptian and regional
religions of the ancients in Canaan, Palestine,
and Egypt.

There are so many mystical symbols
that bind us to the skirt of God. Doing
studies on spices, and other natural
substances, in the Bible, reveals life
eternal, and God's holy face, even in
the river's crockadiles.

These words, and the symbols, come alive,
conveying the bitter and sweet, the profound
secrets of existance, love, and immortality,
in the ironies, victories, and the luminous
power of the WORD, LOGOS. This is one of
the names of Christ.

He has gotten us victory over the enemies
of our soul, the last enemy being death.
He has crushed the head of our enemy.
He struck his heel and broke his teeth.

In Ezekiel 29:3, the term "great dragon" was applied
to a human King of Egypt, Pharoah. John, the Divine,
is writing the sentence handed down to the original
serpentine prince.

Eze 29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharoah king of
Egypt, the
great dragon that lieth in the midst
of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is] mine
own, and I have made [it] for myself
.

The only unforgiveable sin is not to give God His Glory.

The word "serpent"
ophis
occurs 13 x in Revelation.
There are 2 Hebrew words for
serpent: nakhash and taniym/n.
They are somewhat synonomous,
but, there are refined values in
the symbols, when used in Christian
allegory. The brass serpent = taniym,
of Moses and Aaron, was a symbol
for Christ, and all who saw it
lived.

Serpent, nakhash x 31:
Hebrew for 05175

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent > (nakhash) was more
subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD
God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea,
hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the
garden?

Exd 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh,
and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron
cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants,
and it became a serpent.:> (Taniyn/m x 28 )

Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up,
and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations

after that he must be loosed a little season.

Bottomless pit- The abyss

Thousand years:
The Millenium of the Bride and Bridgroom;

Christ and His people, in New Jerusalem.

No death for all flesh for 1000 years
when Satan is bound for 1000 years.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them,and judgment was given unto
them: and [I saw]
the souls of them

Jesus, and for the word of God
, and which
had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received [his] mark, upon
their foreheads
, or in their hands: and they lived
and reigned with Christ
a thousand years.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until
the thousand years were finished. This [is] the
first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath
part in the first resurrection:
on such
second death hath no power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with
him a thousand years.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be
loosed out of his prison
,

and none shall hurt or destroy in his Holy Presence.

This final battle, in Ezekiel 48 and Rev 20:8 may seem like
it's post-millenial, but, is it? It fits in perfectly with
our world events.

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog and Magog, to gather
them
together to battle: the number
of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.

1. Go out
2. Deceive the nations
3. Four quarters
4. Gog and Magog
5. Gather them together
6. To battle
7. The number...
8. Sand of the sea

SAND OF THE SEA:

Gen 32:12 And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good,
and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot
be numbered for multitude.

Jer 33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither
the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed
of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

Hsa 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as
the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered;
and it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto
them, Ye [are] not my people, [there] it shall be said unto them,
[Ye are] the sons of the living God.

Rom 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number
of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant
shall be saved:

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast
rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon
his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the
four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together
to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.

that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that
I [am] the LORD.

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are
in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather
them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed
the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire
came down from God out of heaven, and
devoured them.

JUDGMENT, like in Lot's day:
Gen 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon
Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

In the OT, "Fire from heaven" was always a sign.
Lot's wife was evaporated, and left with the crust
of the salt of the salt sea (Dead Sea,Vale of Shittim.)

The next notable sign of God's power, was done
through the great Prophet, Elijah. :

2Kings 1:10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty,
If I [be] a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven,
and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down
fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

God also appears as a flame of fire, at night, to guide the
Israelites behind Moses.

Exd 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a
pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in
a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

God sanctifies the Temple in a similar display of his
glory of Presence, in the Sanctuary.

1Ch 21:26 And David built there an altar unto the LORD,
and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called
upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire
upon the altar of burnt offering.

2Ch 7:1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire
came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering
and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

Job 1:16 While he [was] yet speaking, there came also another,
and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned
up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am
escaped alone to tell thee.

Luk 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw [this],
they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down
from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom
it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed
[them] all.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the
lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and
night for ever and ever.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from
whose face the earth and heaven fled away; and there
was found no place for them.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before
God; and the books were opened: and another book
was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they
were judged every man according to their works.

First and second death.

Hbr 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour;
that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here,
which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man
coming in his kingdom.

Mar 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That
there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of
death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Luk 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here,
which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Jhn 8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast
a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man
keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?

Eze 38:15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts,
thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon
horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

Eze 38:16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter
days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the
heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in
thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; [Art] thou he of whom
I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets
of Israel, which prophesied in those days [many] years
that I would bring thee against them?

Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog
shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord
GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face.

Eze 38:19 For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have
I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking
in the land of Israel;

Eze 38:20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven,
and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that
creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon
the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence,
and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the
steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the
ground.

Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout
all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's
sword shall be against his brother.

Eze 38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and
with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his
bands, and upon the many people that [are] with
him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire,
and brimstone.

Eze 38:23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself;
and I will be known in the eyes of many nations,
and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
