Jude - Hey Jude

Jud 1:1
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of
James, to them that are
sanctified by God the Father,
and
preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:

The authorship ofJude is controversial, but, it is
generally believed, and accepted, that it is the
same Jude, brother of James, brother of Jesus
Christ. The Lord's half-brothers were careful
to be subdued about themselves, so they wouldn't
be a snare to believers who would worship them
as sons of Mary. (For more on Jude)

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of
James, to them that are
sanctified by God the Father,
and
preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:

Jude, brother of Christ, refers to himself as the "servant"
*(slave) because, only Christ is to be worshipped.
He deliberately identifies himself with the more well
known Apostle James, "The Less", the Lord's Apostolic
brother, to distinguish himself clearly as the Lord's younger
half-brother to validate his message. He is anchored,
by confirming the messages in 2 Peter, and The
Book of Enoch, referred to by them.

The Apostles were sets of brothers, along with the
Lord's own biological brothers like these.

Jude is named as half-brother in Matthew
13:55 and Mark 6:3. He was not a believer
during Christ's 3 year ministry.

There was a reason Christianity took hold.
These people saw awesome things, of the
power and glory of God, especially after
the resurrection.

The Lord's own biological brothers didn't
know what to make of him, even thought
he was loopy. His brothers James, Joseph,
and Simon did not believe Christ was divine
(John 7:3-5.) Jude, like his brothers and sisters,
thought Jesus was out of his mind! (Mark 3:21)

Jude, James, and the Lord's half-brothers and
sisters eventually saw the light, and Jude spent life,
with his wife, as a missionary.(1Cor 9:5)

The Church faced the Judaisers,
and idolators, who worshipped
the Greco-Roman pantheons
(See Galatians), who nullified
the glory of the Sacrifice of God
in Jesus Christ. They demoted
him to a line of Jewish Prophets
like Isaiah, taking away his crown.
They demoted him to the baby
of Isis.

The powers belittling the Lord
are satanic. These are the false
ones, who lead the church astray.
Only God and His Angels can
defeat this enemy.We are given
this sword to shake. We are the
ones who quake, as your mighty
army rolls in.

It sounds like these people were
putting too much weight on exorcism,
since, Jude makes special mention of
how even Archangel Michael didn't
rail at Satan, but, said merely,
"The Lord Rebukes Thee." ( dirty snake....)

God hears our cries. God had a Plan
for us to overcome corruption and
death. In Jesus, we are more than
conquerers, but, we must be true
to Him, and seek His Face, and His
Grace. Jesus is easy to have as a best
friend. He is freedom and peace.

One day He will be seen by us,
and we will follow him forever
in loyal service, adoration,
and devotion. Thank you God
for giving us so much, even
in our own lives. Most of us
don't know the suffering and
sacrifice of people who
lived thousands of years
ago.

The Lord has crowns for our heads,
We who are dust.
The Lord opened the doors to
the Kingdom of God for us.

Father, In Christ's Name, keep us safe,
focused on the picture, in our minds' eyes,
of your glory and grace. Spread forth your
nets LORD! I pray that it's a humongous
net full of fish for you to harvest in this
sea. May I be worthy to be a fisher or men,
too for you .

I am a greatful doulos!

with love multipled, in Jesus Christ,
our Passion. Amen.

Jud 1:2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

Jude extends the Apostolic greeting, last in line, in the
great King James Version canon, as the standard. It's
blessed by God, so, it's hard to find fault with certain
books being missing.

Jude is likewise breaking rules, by giving the Apostles'
greeting, with his brother James (Jacob's) authority.
Yet, it's placement after the Apostolic Epistles, and
before John's Revelation, is divine.

I love these greetings, given in a style called "economies."
Mercy, peace, and love are bound together as a covering
of over-all blanket of grace to this early church, under heavy
persecution, and fire, literally, being burned alive by their own
families, sometimes. Cast out, by their own tribes, the Romans
hunted them down for sport and recreation, like the Nazis
did, as a unifying ritual with the masses. They were killed
like the Jews in WWII, only for exhibition, like footballs
but, crowds cheered when the bodies of children were
torn apart by wild lions.

God takes it to heart when his people are persecuted.
We are told, that we are blessed, because, he
was persecuted first. It shows us the strength of
the First Century Church, to create a revolution
that changed the world.

Back to Jude's greeting. It seems innocuous, and
it's words are blessed, but, it also signifies that
he's extending the message of the Apostle Peter,
in the auspices of James, the Less, one of the
Apostles, and brother to the Lord, and to
Jude.

In fact, Jude may have been the youngest,
since, he makes a point of mentioning that
Enoch was the "7"th from Adam. He may
have been Mary and Joseph's seventh
son.

These are angelic greetings, in style of the prophets.
These are more than "good energy" as much as a
shot of spiritual adrenalin, to strengthen that which
was dying, or being slaughtered, in the Lord's flock.
It's a miracle Christianity prevailed past the 1rst
Century.

No other human being has had a greater effect
on our lives, directly, or indirectly, as Jesus
Christ, the Lamb of God, The Bridegroom.
His word is true, and we can see it with
our own events, in everything, all around
us. I want to see the Lord's face. This is
what my heart seeks, and I encourage
all those struggling in this dying ocean
and polluted sea of material earth,
to embrace a hope of being clean.

Clean water, clean air, is everywhere
where he dwells. He is the breath,
the ruwach, the Spirit that is a
flaming sword, (*Chereb*)

This one chapter Epistle of the Lord's
half-brother Jude, has strength
in it's own clear messages, reaffirming
2 Peter, and speaking of Angelic
themes, like Enoch. His pen was
an extension of his collaboration
and kinship to the Apostles,
since he speaks with Apostolic
Authority, from Benediction
to Blessing, at the end.

When Jude entreats the churches, it is
certainly meant for our strengthening
as well, but, it was originally meant
to exhort, encourage, and strengthen
the churches, from Jerusalem to Rome,
Greece to Turkey and Asia.

This latter day letter, impacts our
consciences. We need to come clean,
and not be beguiled by a pastor or
denominations, if they are not feeding
us spiritually.

We individually need to seek God's
face, for ourselves. It's a beautiful
experience, joyful and cleansing. It
gives us strength when our own is
gone. We can't let our faith in men,
obfuscate our judgement about
God!

Christ said, "Seek and ye shall find,
ask and ye shall receive, and to those
who ask little, little is given... "

I encourage myself in these parables
and proverbs, every day. I wish I was
the strong spiritual warriors that St. Jude,
and the Apostles, Disciples (MARTYRS)..

They left to us these remaining Holy Words,
as a legacy. These blazing words, written with the
same pen as wrote down the ten Laws on the 2 tablets,
will fulfill His Will, and still have mercy on those
who seek His Face and call his name ..)

Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you
of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write
unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly
contend for the faith which was once delivered unto
the saints.

Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who
were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness and denying, the only Lord God,
and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Condemnation:

Luk 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying,
Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same
condemnation?

Jhn 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light
is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather
than light, because their deeds were evil.

them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.

krima/ condemnation

1) a decree, judgments
2) judgment
a) condemnation
of wrong, the decision (whether severe or mild) which
one passes on the faults of others.
b) In a forensic sense
(1) The sentence of a judge
(2) The punishment with which one is sentenced
(3) condemnatory sentence,penal jugment, sentence
(4) a matter to be judicially decided, a lawsuit, a
case in court.

[them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness,
to be reserved unto judgment;

2Pe2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,
and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judment to be punished.

2Pe3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the
same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the
day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jud 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye
once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the
people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed
them that believed not.

Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but

DARKNESS

{dzof'-os}
zophos / darkness

1.) darkness, blackness

a.) used of the darkness of the nether world
darkness 2, mist 1, blackness 1; 4

This word, "zophos" is used 4 times, 2 x in 2 Peter, and
2 x in Jude. Jude is structured and reiterative of 2Peter
all the way through. Both epistles have the same unique
message: The angels of Lucifer await punishment, and
are reserved to be chained and kept captive for 1000
years, and then after one last purge, he will be punished
along with the angels who rebelled, and left their
"First" *Arche* (*estate).... Their last estate will be
miserable.

What's unique is that they use liberties in describing
some otherwise unspeakable things. Jude even
refers to the now missing books, of Moses and
the original Enoch.

Jud 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them
in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and
going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example,
suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude 1 is full of unique gems, usually reserved for Appocryphical
Books, e.g.: Tobit, Maccabees I and II, and Judith. We get a
personal view of two high ranking angels, one damned, the
other, the glorious Angel of the LORD, Michael, fighting over the
body of Moses. This is the only place in the Bible we learn
about it.

in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jud 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone the way of Cain,
and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward,
and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

in the gainsaying

Jude uses three examples of Scriptures, in an
economical "wickedness" to describe sin, in
general: Cain, slew his righteous brother Abel;
Baalam, who when sent to curse the Israelites,
ended up blessing them, when he wouldn't bless
them, his ass (donkey) blessed them, in a
comical twist.

This goes to show God's supernatural power
over all natural forces, and sense of humor.

The Korahs, in Numbers 16, symbolize all the bad
seeds in God's church, who creep in, making themselves
take root, but, all they sow is selfishness and blasphemy.
It's a clear allegory about how God will weed out the
"bad Korahs", to save the holy from their corruption.
Too many Korahs lead churches, and that's why
the Church was judged in the Book of Revelations.

The Earth swallowed up the original Korahs (Cores)
by the Lord's command, as a standard of how before
him, there can be no wickedness, and his glory shall
destroy those who exploit his name for merchandise
and gain, for personal enrichment and personal
dominion.

Num 16: 5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all
this company, saying, Even tomorrow
the LORD
will shew who [are] his, and [who is] holy
; and
will cause [him] to come near unto him:
even
[him] whom he hath chosen will he cause to come
near unto him
.

Num 16: 19 And Korah gathered all the congregation
against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: the glory of the LORD appeared unto
all the congregation.

Num 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get
you up from about the tabernacle of
Korah, Dathan,
and Abiram
.

Num 16:27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah,
Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and
Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents,
and their wives, and their sons, and their children.

Num 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the
men that [appertained]
unto
Korah, and all [their]
goods
.

Num 16:40 [To be] a memorial unto the children
of Israel, that no stranger, which [is] not of the
seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before
the LORD; that he be not as
Korah, and his company:
as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they
feast with you, feeding themselves without fear:
clouds [they are] without water, carried about
of winds
, trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit,
twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

2 Pe 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that
are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness
is reserved for ever.

Proverbs 25:14 Whoso boasteth himself of a
false gift [is like]
clouds and wind without rain.

Jud 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness for ever.

Metaphors upon metaphors, like the tens of thousands,
of angels, indicate some subtle things. They are obligate
code words.

It was spiritually edifying, and materially necessary to
encode some of these messages. For instance, when the
"Epistle of Jude" was estimated to be written, in approx
65-70 AD, there was active persecution. As it was Jude,
along with the Lord's other natural brothers were
crucified, beheaded, eaten by lions, killed by gladiators,
and made sport of, losing their lives. Entire families
were torn apart by wild beasts as crowds screamed
gleefully.

Yes, these were coded.

John, the Beloved, who I strongly see as the Lord's
youngest half-brother, biological son of Mary and Joseph,
was the youngest and only one to survive the scourges
past the 70 AD crush of Roman cleansing of Jerusalem.
It was similar to the period of the 1940s, leading up
to the most volatile and deadly years of WWII in
the Theater of Europe. These forces were of
another realm, and as humans, we have limited
insight into the realm of angels. Sometimes,
we get to peek inside the doors, when the
LORD comes knocking.

Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of
these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand
of his saints,

Enoch xl 1
After this I beheld thousands of thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand, and an infinite number of people, standing before the Lord of spirits.
Revelations 5:11
I beheld and heard the voice of many angels roung about the throne, ... and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.

The circa *150 BC "Book of Enoch" seems to be the book referred to
by Jude. This Book has challenged theologians and skeptics, alike.
Yet, PETER and JUDE authoritate its place in their canon.. In fact,
all the Apostles, and Gospels have its' imprint, in language
and exegesic syntax.

I don't think it should be ignored, but, recognized as problematic
because of its uniqueness. Still, an endorsement by Jude, the
Lord's half-brother, and the Apostle Peter, by quoting the Book of Moses and Enoch, reveals that we are probably missing two books which could
tie pieces together, but, Scripture is still complete and perfect,
even without them. We got the gist of the missing two, from
the enlightened reiteration of them, otherwise, by the prophets
of the Gospels, and great Apostolic Epistles, and the Book
of Revelation, by John, The Beloved.

Peter and Jude, refer to this Book, and even in these
cryptic sections of their epistles to the churches, we
get a scope of its' impact on their own vision of
the Apocolypse, and the mystical realm of the
Angels of God.
