Revelation 3- The 7th Church - Laodicea

Red poppies in a field in Laodicea,
an ingredient in their eye-salves.
Laodicea was the most prosperous
and scientifically/modern city,
along with selling of black woolen
cloths. Christ counsels them to buy
ointments which help them to *SEE*
and WHITE raiment, not black.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.
Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Christ finishes his Judgment on Philadelphia
with a favorable verdict. They were told
to hold fast, and keep the Word and Law
of God, in Jesus Christ, who is before
an open door, who holds the keys to
Hell and destruction, Life and immortality.

Unlike today, the original 7 churches, were
not continents apart, which could explain
their variety of doctrines. All seven were
founded by the Apostles and Jesus Christ,
and all were located within Turkey, known
as Asia Minor. Within of a generation of their
inception, after 100 years, Christ judges them,
and even they are 5/7ths condemned.

Ephesus, the first church, was where the
original Temple of Artemis stood, and this
was where the Apostles first established
the Church of Christ, overthrowing the
earth religion, which was competing
with the Witness of Jesus Christ, and
the Great God who is ONE. Paul, while
in Ephesus, oversees the Laodicean church.
It was the closest to second generation
church, meaning the church deprived of
the Apostles. It is the worst church, and
totally worldly, arrogant, and unwilling to
consider the great heresies. They have
big beautiful church buildings, and
material things. They feel safe, and
they're unwilling to see the truth
of their spiritual poverty.

This is the height of carnal Christianity,
and Christmas is the orgy ritual of
that faithlessness, sinfulness, and greed.
How arrogant to put Christ's name to
this spectacle.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The Apostle Paul, to the Collosians, *(a
sister church to Laodicea in this region)
writes specifically to this church
in Laodica:

Collosians 2:6-8

6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been

taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,

after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

The Judgment is balanced upon this
dichotomy of Mary/s, spiritual conterfeit,
and the beginnings of mixing Christianity
with the mystery religion of the ancients.

Laodicea is so lazy and puffed up, they
believe they are safe, just like we have
a false state of wellbeing, when we could
die any minute, and be sent to suffer,
forbidden to enter God's Kingdom.

We need to buy from him righteousness,
and follow his religion, not the tradition
of men, in Christmas, and changing the
Sabbaths. Yet, most Christians will laugh
at this notion, like the Laodiceans.

Is our religion planted upon
His rock, and His WORD, or the world,
where worship of the pagan mystery
religion competes with the indelible pen
of God, who delivered the LAW to Moses.

Mary, the descendant of King David, who
gave birth to Jesus, the Messiah, is truly
venerated, however. In Rev. 12, she is
symbolic for the Church's character of
holiness. There is tremendous metaphor
and the church with both Mary Magdalene
and the Virgin Mary, but, the religion
that competes with Christ, turning
Mary and Magdalene into goddesses,
are in grave error. By celebrating the
feast and sabbaths dedicated to the
mystery religion, we are following
the whore, who slept with many
to get such a screwed up pagan
and gnostic gospel, with no
resemblance to Judaism.

Isis/Cybele Mother Mary, and
the fairy tale version of this season
and our Lord is not kosher. This the
WHORE and adulteress, who causes
the majority of the church to stumble.

This is very important, and this message
is important to HEAR.

Who wants to hear that CHristmas is anathema
and Sunday is not the Sabbath? Don't
we claim to witness, and give? Even if
we do, we're contibuting to the corruption
of the perfect Gospel, just like these
seven churches, culminating in
Laodicea.

What good is it to revel in the carnality
of this season, making excuse after
excuse for doing it, calling those like
me, Scrooge and Grinch?

Mary/Isis, mother of Osiris, and the
sungod/reincarnation, whose birth
was Dec. 25, is the hallmark of the
mystery religion of the ancients.

Within 100 years, instead of establishing
Apostolic Messianic Judaism, the Asia
Minor churches evolved the mystery
religion. Diana.Artemis/Isis,
Mary became infused with the goddess.

Evidence of this exists in Ephesus, where Diana
went from virgin goddess to fertile earth
mother of all in archeological treasures, from
this First - Third Century era, where the
conversion was happening, and the religion
was being rewritten.

Going back to Genesis 4, the ancestors of
Tubal Cain, are thought to be the descendants
of this tribe, who populated the regions of
Asia Minor that were fertile ground for
the establishing the Church of Jesus Christ.

We've changed the Sabbath.
We're in the bad church, if
our churches have hewn trees,
decorated sinfully and decadently.

Do we spend any time visiting the
widowed, elderly, and street people?
Isn't it an orgy of feasts, expensive
material things, self-indulgences,
partying and committing sinful acts?
When we tell the story of Christ's birth,
do we tell it accurately, or is it another
fairy tale, in the weakest form.

What church are we in?

Do we think that blurring the
lines of truth, like the first
churches did, by the end of the
First Century, will be less
serious? We are being judged.

He will thrust us into Tribulation
to give us one final chance to repent.

But, if we obey Him, we may
escape the first death. If we
dwell in pagan ritualistic
assemblies, we risk the
Second Death.

This is what Christ is imploring
the first Christians. This is what
the Holy Spirit says today!

Combining Christ's righteousness
with the pagan rituals, festivities
and food, represents the same
exact spiritual adultery which
was why Laodicea was judged,
and spewn. This is the drunk
whore of revelation. We need
to come clean. Get rid of that
carnal Christianity!

Laodicea is next in the King's Highway
Trade route in Asia Minor.

He is beyond our understanding,
and His holiness is beyond our
reach to ever come to him in
our flesh, and justify our own
sins.

The ultimate and unforgivable
condemnation God gave the
children of Israel, was to never
worship the pagan gods and their
feasts, yet, we have installed
Christmas, an abomination,
and we have changed the Sabbath.

There's no way we can understand
how egregious that is to God,
whose ordinances were to be
OBEYED, not changed to conform
to man's convenience.

So, 5 out of 7 churches, then as
now, are being crushed and
judged. Yet, they continue
with their orgy of Christmas
(as pagan metaphor)
festivities, the worse being
the wealthy city of Laodicea.

When a church in Asia Minor is
wealthy, it relates to the patron
gods, like Artemis, Apollo, Zeus,
Cybele, etc.

It is analogous, in some ways, to
the lifestyle of Americans, decadently
going into debt buying expensive
indulgences for already spiritually
impoverished souls, including their
own children.

They are being indoctrinated in
making up fairy tales when it comes
to God, throwing up his own plan,
his own Sabbath, which is sundown
to sundown on our Friday-Saturday.

Pastors and Christians can make
up all the stories they want to to
justify making Christ the sungod,
but, it stinks to God. He feels
nauseated looking at this
obscene orgy of decadence this
time of year. The arrogance
of this lukewarm nauseating
assembly, using Christ's name
to indulge in carnal things.

It is of the devil, in carnal symbolism,
and etiquette, depraving the hearts
and souls of those who want to
be Christians. Because they
are weak, they fall into this
carnal temptation, and justify
it to God.

This is the original sin.
We need to obey God, not
man. We need to never
over write the truth of
Scripture, changing the
Sabbath, and making
excuses for idolatrous
feast days, not ordained
from the beginning, according
to His edict and Law.

Without Christ's righteousness,
we cannot hide our sins, and
we cannot enter the Kingdom.

We are in the age of Laodicea, but,
Laodicea, as a wealthy pagan city,
was part of the corruption. Because
their wealth was in precious metals,
stones, dyes and fabrics, mostly in
reverence to the Roman and ancient
pagan Gods, they merged the two
religions. One was the Earth religion,
and one was Christ of Heaven.

Merry Christmas Laodicea.
Pay attention, and listen up,.
Philadelphia. Hold fast and
don't let anyone change your
beliefs.

Genesis 4: The Family of Cain 4:17 - 4:24

Gen 4:17
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived,
and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and
called the name of the city, after the name
of his son, Enoch.

Enoch means "initiated." He was the first to walk with the
Lord, and never died. Even though Cain was a "marked
man," he was blessed with his family. Through his genes,
will man be redeemed by Christ.

There's immeasurable information concealed, as well as revealed
in the seven verses relating to Cain. The branches of Cain, or
Caanan, begin to spread out. In addition to righteous Enoch,
the next generations will become the patrons of great nations.

Lamech is the father of Noah, deemed righteous,
not a marked man.

Cain is cast out, and dwells in the Land of NOD, East of Eden.
This is the only time NOD is mentioned. Cain is a wanderer.
The original wandering Jew.

Genesis- 4: 25 God walks with son of man Beginnings.

From Blue Letter Bible:

The descendants of Seth were called by the name of the Lord (Genesis 4:25,26). This is not true in reference to the descendants of Cain. The servants of God in all ages have been called the sons of God (Job 1:6; Romans 8:14; 1 John 3:2). The character of Seth's descendants proves that they were the sons of God (Genesis 5:3-29; Genesis 6:9; Genesis 7:1). The character of Cain's descendants proves that they were not the sons of God, for Cain Himself was a murderer, a fugitive, and vagabond (Genesis 4:8-14), and his descendants were polygamists and murderers (Genesis 4:17-23).

God establishes different dynasties, by design.
He puts his mark on one particular group,
Caananites, son of Cain. He also puts his
mark on the ancestors of Christ, in Seth.
Everyone had the same genes, and God
deliberately installs grace, by walking with
the son of Cain, Enoch.

Bloodline alone is nothing without
the compassion and love of Christ,
who turns our accursed genealogy
into the original state of perfection,
before the fall.

Grace abounds.

Are we our brother's keeper?
Yes

Genesis 4 - Brotherhood. Cain's offering

For a small chapter, so much happens, that it's impossible
to devote as much time to it, as it deserves.

It begins with the begatting of the first generations.
It has symmetry in twos.

Adam and Eve-
Cain and Abel.

4:1
And Adam knew
Eve his wife; and she conceived,

and bare
Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

This is creation, within the framework of the original
creation. The conceptual language is the same as the
opening of Genesis, with the Beginnings of beginning.
There is always re-creation, and life within life. God's
realm is not finite, and it is expanding, and infinite.

Eve says, "I have gotten a man from the LORD."
She regards this as a gift. All life is a gift.

The firstborn of man was Cain, who was a tiller,
tending to the earth, breaking up the
the hard clods of ground, and farming.

He seethed in envy at his brother Abel,
who was a shepherd, on the hills, relatively
comfortable and carefree.

As the firstborn, Cain must have felt cheated.

The occasion comes to make a
Feast for the Lord, ( and in their
case, and it was literally to have him come
and eat,) the brothers prepared the food
offering, respectively.

Cain's hard labor as a farmer,
doing backbreaking work, in the hot
sun, was rewarded by bountiful
fruits and veggies to serve. He was
proud of himself.

He regarded the field as his, and his
labor rewarding to him. He failed to
recognize that everything is the LORD's,
alone. As Eve knew that it was God, who
gave her a son, Cain thought of himself
before and above God, who possessed
everything that is.

(To embellish the tale, I fill in many
unknowns. This is my view.)

Cain prepares a feast, with the vegetables
fruits and grains. Abel takes the most
tender ram, one he may have loved as a pet.
He offers him, as a blood sacrifice, and
to justify it's great sacrifice of life, it is
roasted to the LORD, and consumed by
the servant of the Most High. His offering
was seasoned with his tears.

Abel may have loved that sheep, like a
brother, since Cain was a loner. Because
of this act, God was pleased with him, and
the state of his heart was revealed.

We may not like it, but, we are bought and
paid for by blood. Instead of offering up sons,
for sin, or even animals, anymore, our Lord, gave
us His own blood. He stepped down from Heaven,
to do this.

Animals will no longer have to die for our
sins, except man has destroyed many
species, and must account for it.
Cruelty to animals is a grave sin.

That's why the blood offering was
mandated, to teach man the pain of
sin, and realize that because of our
sin, death occurs.

It's meaning was revealed, when Christ
sheds his own blood, to become our
propitiation, and covering for our sins.

It's not that Abel's sacrifice was
better, extrinsically, because, God
was undoubtedly pleased with the
fine bounty of fruits, grains and
vegetables, too, but, Abel's heart
had learned compassion, sorrow,
and obedience, while Cain had nothing
but self-centeredness, self-righteousness,
and pride in himself for doing so well.

Abel suffered when slaughtering the
animal in his flock. He knew the pain
of death. Ironically, his brother, the
vegetarian, who wouldn't slay a
sheep, slays a living brother.

Because of our sinfulness, and pride,
other innocent beings suffer. Cain
rebels. Not merely against his
favored younger brother, but, he
rebels mainly, from God, who preferred
the blood offering of Abel's. Cain slays
his brother, as a way of getting back at
God. Cain is imposing his own image on
to God, changing the schemata radically.

Brotherly love flew out the window
East of Eden.

Cain is a murderer. But, God doesn't
slay him. He turns him to a road, and
tells him to go forth. He invokes the
sorrow that is to come. Living is a
punishment sometimes.

Yet, God doesn't strike him dead.
In fact, he sets a mark on him, to
warn others that whoever slays him
will have 7 times the punishment.
That referred to how many family
members they'd lose, for his
one.

It seems like they still adhere to this in
Israel, and the fertile crescent. The violence
has never ceased, from the original
slaying of brother vs. brother.

People may laugh and scoff, but, God lives
in these words, and to anyone who reads them
with a sincere heart, God will bless. Even with
life eternal.

Genesis establishes the origins of " brother vs. brother."
The firstborn is not the first to be redeemed.
"The elder shall serve the younger" and the "first
shall be last," is also a common condition.

This begins with the very firstborn of the family
of man that we're descendants of, beginning with
the first two brothers, Cain and Abel.

Genesis 4 East of Eden

PARADISE LOST

Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Gen 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Gen 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where [is] Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's keeper?
Gen 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
Gen 4:11 And now [art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
Gen 4:12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
Gen 4:13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment [is] greater than I can bear.
Gen 4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Gen 4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Gen 4:18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
Gen 4:19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one [was] Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
Gen 4:20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and [of such as have] cattle.
Gen 4:21 And his brother's name [was] Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
Gen 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain [was] Naamah.
Gen 4:23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
Gen 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, [said she], hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Gen 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Revelation 3 Philadelphia - THE DOOR

Rev 3:8
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door,
and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast
kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Rev 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me.

DOOR =
( Gk-DOO'-rah )

1) a door

a) the vestibule

b) used of any opening like a door, an entrance, way or passage into

c) in a parable or metaphor

1) the door through which sheep go in and out, the

name of him who brings salvation to those who follow

his guidance

2) "an open door" is used of the opportunity of doing something

3) the door of the kingdom of heaven (likened to a palace)
denotes the conditions which must be complied with in order to be received into the kingdom of God

The importance of this salutation's use of the word, "Door," is
pretty obvious. He stands knocking at the door. Do we want
to invite him in? Are we willing to obey the true order? Are
we ready for the Lord's coming?

Most of the deeds of the 7 churches, in Asia Minor, were
unsatisfactory. We like to think of them being from a
bygone age, so, they don't affect us. However, the parallel
to our current age, in terms of some major pagan adultery
in our churches, makes these messages just as relevent,
today. Maybe moreso, if we are the Omega church!

The seven churches started out perfectly,
when Paul, Peter, John, and the other Apostles,
including the top 3 Mary's, in Asia Minor.
I can't begin to imagine how powerfully
their connection to heaven was, with
visible manifestations of angels, and
even some of the risen ancients, like
King David. The first Pentecost, after
Christ's crucifixion, blew every other
religion away.

The way Christ's Church began was
powerful, because, it's purpose was
to change the world, and it did that. It
brought JUDAISM to the nations. Or
did it?

What happened? Where's the JUDAISM
of 1rst Century Apostolic Christianity?

The answer is sad. The answer is why
6 of the churches are disappointing to
Christ. Only Philadelphia had the
humility to reject the paganism of
the other churches, and their feasts
to honor pagan things.

Prosperous cities like Ephesus,
Pergamum, thrived due to the
prolific silver craftsmen, artisans,
and textile and dye trades. They were
fabulously rich thanks to their
patronesses, usually Diana or
Cybele.

Bringing in a religion that forbids
graven images, or pagan artifacts
of any kind, was threatening to
undermine the prosperous
capitalism.

It would be EXACTLY like
Christians deciding NOT to
worship a pagan holiday,
calling it by the Lord's
Ineffable Name to further
expand the blasphemy.

Christmas is a measured
time for mainly merchants,
to sell things, the same as the
regions with churches in 100 A.D.
with active idol manufacturing,
especially Dianas and Apollo.
How well the merging of Mary
and Jesus was accomplished, which
kept everyone happy.

So, a compromise was made then,
to keep some of the pagan themes,
to keep alive the mercenary drive
of merchants.

Compromise. Is this a good thing
in our holy doctrine? It never is.

In the final church, Christ tells
the most morally repugnant church,
Laodicea, that he would have preferred
that they were hot or cold.

Christmas is not a time when people
think about Jesus Christ. It can't
be. He isn't about to step into a
fairy tale, yet, the church was
tricked into carrying on this way
for the past 2000 years.

It started in 100 A.D., when the
introduction of the pagan gods
into the Christian meshwork,
eliminated Judaism in Christianity
and replaced it with pagan idols,
ritual days, like Christmas, December
25.

This one thing is egregious, yet,
how many otherwise good churches
and Christian families are doing it.
If you celebrate Christmas, don't
see yourself in the Church of Philly.

If you celebrate Christmas, chances
are you're in the Church of Laodicea,
or the other pagan churches, who
compromised the truth.

The door is open, but, who dares to
go in?

The Sixth Church : PHILADELPHIA

AlaÅŸehir / Philadelphia

Philadelphia lies in a valley at the foot of a mountainous plateau in west central Turkey. The low dark hill in the center of the picture shows the area of the ancient city. The kings of Pergamum founded Philadelphia as an outpost of their realm in the second century B.C. The town was located along an important travel route that linked Pergamum in the north with Laodicea to the south.

*(From Wikipedia)

AlaÅŸehir began as perhaps one of the first ancient cities with the name Philadelphia. It was established in 189 BC by King Eumenes II of Pergamon (197-160 BC). Eumenes II named the city for the love of his brother, who would be his successor, Attalus II (159-138 BC), whose loyalty earned him the nickname, "Philadelphos", literally meaning "one who loves his brother". The city is perhaps best-known as the site of one of the seven churches of Asia in the Book of Revelation.

Lacking an heir, Attalus III Philometer, the last of the Attalid kings of Pergamum, bequeathed his kingdom, including Philadelphia, to his Roman allies when he died in 133 BC. Rome set up the province of Asia in 129 BC by combining Ionia and the former Kingdom of Pergamum.

Philadelphia was an independent neutral city, under the influence of the Latin Knights of Rhodes, when taken in 1390 by Sultan Bayezid I and an auxiliary Christian force under the Byzantine emperor Manuel II after a prolonged resistance, when all the other cities of Asia Minor had surrendered. Twelve years later it was captured by Timur, who built a wall with the corpses of his prisoners. A fragment of the ghastly structure is in the library of Lincoln Cathedral.

Philadelphia was the last Byzantine stronghold in inner Asia Minor.

http://www.luthersem.edu/ckoester/Revelation/Philadelphia/Main.htm
An inscription from Philadelphia mentions a number of gods and goddesses. Zeus, the chief god, was said to have commanded people to be pure and to refrain from deceit, murder, theft, adultery, and other types of evil. There was an altar to Hestia, the goddess of hearth and home. The inscription also mentions the savior gods, including Good Fortune, Virtue, Health, and other deities.

REVELATION 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things
saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David,
he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

ISAIAH 22:22
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder;
so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none
shall open.

This is the way he addresses the Church of Philadelphia.
He establishes that He is the Messiah, and reiterate the
prophecy of the Messiah in Isaiah 22:22. The entire
chapter of Isaiah is an important companion to Rev.
3. The OT prophet expands on the Messiah, as the
key of David, and House of Judah.

Sardis- Fifth Church

(Rev 3:1 KJV) And unto the angel of the church
in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath
the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;
I know thy works, that thou hast a name that
thou livest, and art dead.

Chapter 2, had the first four churches: Ephesus, Smyrna,
Pergamum, and Thyatira. Chapter 3 focuses on the next
2 along the ancient trade route of Asia Minor: Sardis and
Philadelphia.

Asia Minor during the First Century A.D. was similar
to the USA, today. It was wealthy, and it was the
repository of wisdom with large libraries. The artisan
trades were very active.

Silver craftsmen flourished in Ephesus, and Sardis, making
idols and other silverware. Silver represented the moon
goddess Diana, aka Artemis. She was fused into the
Egyptian traditions. This was the great mystery religion,
the one that got fused into Christianity, and which is now
called, the Great Whore. The city also celebrated Cybele,
the Goddess who heals. These elements became fused
with the early Christianity, and it's in Rev. 3 when
Jesus visits them, are they given one last chance
to clean up their act.

Here's another Temple of Artemis:

The region of Sardis was also very affluent for it's
convenient location, as a port region between Europe
and the Middle East.
Ruins of the great temples of Artemis reveal more about the
ruin of the Church, which incorporated the Mystery Religion,
with Christmas worship, and Sunday Sabbath. This is very
disturbing, because, when we read Revelation, we like to
feel like we're all the good Philadelphians, the Church with
the most godly qualities.

Like Sardis, and Laodicea, how we like to pat ourselves
on the back, and murmer that non-Christians and
gays are the offenders of God. How ironic that the
worst betrayals of faith, are these being addressed
by Christ to the 7 churches.

http://www.luthersem.edu/ckoester/Revelation/Sardis/Main.htm
Sardis was one of the legendary cities of Asia Minor in what is today Turkey. In the seventh century B.C., Sardis was the capital of the kingdom of Lydia. Gold was found in the river near Sardis and the kings who lived there were renowned for their wealth. The Persians captured Sardis in the sixth century and made it the administrative center for the western part of their empire. The fabled "royal road" connected Sardis with the Persian cities to the east. In New Testament times, Sardis was part of the Roman province of Asia.

Many approach the seven churches as a metaphor
for the church ages. This was how I was taught.

There may be something to that, but, there's
also a little of every church in these 7.

Christ warns them, because, their works
are not complete or perfect. They
are barely alive. Like many churches today,
they exist, have pleasant services, have
charity and mission outreaches, but, the
power of God is lacking, because, they
do not yield their hearts or understanding
to God.

5th Church- Sardis

SARDIS

Revelation 3:2
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,
that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works
perfect before God.

Revelation 3

REVELATION 3
Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Genesis 3:4 Death

Genesis 3: 4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Death
muwth {mooth}

The serpent lied. Because of the lie, Eve and
Adam were subject to death.

Changing the order of this world, as the
serpent did, when he spoke to the woman,
the most innocent and newest creation of
Gods', has a correlation with the sin of
changing the Sabbath.

We have been fooled by things that
glitter in the sun, like that forbidden
fruit that Eve lusted for. Our carnal
nature, doesn't refer only to our
sexual desires. We love God
carnally, when we change his
ordinances, as we've done.

Worshipping on Sunday, and
changing the Sabbath is the
same as sleeping with a prostitute
on the Sabbath.

This is hard for us to accept, as
Christians, who love Jesus,
but, we have to start breaking
away from the attachment to
this world and customs of man,
and seek Him, as the rules
He stated still apply.

Eve had a Savior, who was Jesus,
the ancestor who gained victory
over Death and Hades. He
achieved immortality, not for
Himself, He ALWAYS Was,
but, he gained us our rank in
heaven. We're made a little
lower than angels.

Christ said we would judge the
angels, as well.

We need to accept his Plan.
We have been tested, like Eve,
and with the knowledge of
Christ, as the fulfillment of
the Laws of Moses, is the
final covenant.

I pray that many eyes are opened,
and many will see the angels
among us.

Thank you for another Sabbath Day,
Hashem. I enjoyed it. I am overjoyed
that we were important enough to
you, for you to bestow upon us your
promises. I truly believe your promises
are real. I look forward to seeing you
come back, through the clouds.

I long to see it with my own eyes.

In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Thank you for the study, Lord,
and I pray that you help edify
and illuminate each word, to
help me see you.

I pray that everyone who
seeks you today will be
rewarded by sure proof
of your sovereignty.

Praise you Lord!
Hashem Adonai Y'shua HaMaschiah.

What is death? To live is Christ,
to die is gain!

Our hope is with God, not man.
Only he has the keys to the
Kingdom.

Please come swiftly Lord.
Amen.

The Serpent Genesis 3:1

Gen 3:1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast
of the field which the LORD God had made. And
he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden?

THE SERPENT

nachash {naw-khawsh'}

The Devil isn't a big theme in the Bible.
In Genesis, he is reduced to a crawling
critter, by depiction.

When these passages are taken literally,
they become hard for man to take.
They get turned into fairy tales.

The truth is, we know little about the
great adversary to man, except he's
rather lowly, in the heavenly order.

In fact, he didn't come to Adam and Eve
as a glorious angel, but as a crawling
nuisance.

Adam named all the animals in the
Garden, but, he wasn't shown speaking
to them, like with the serpent.

The serpent already was changing the
rules of the Kingdom. That's all we know.
He lied to Eve, and caused the state we're
in, today.

I've known many people who come
from an occult frame of mind. I've
spent years following them, learning
what they learn. Did it edify me?
No. Did it corrupt me? Sure it did,
like the warriors of Thyatira, and
the 1rst Century Christians. It
corrupted Solomon. However,
God is a mighty cleanser.

He knows our state of affairs, and
how vulnerable we are.

This was the tenderness of our
religion, which endears us to him.

Think about it, man is made a
little lower than angels.

We were given power over the
serpent, by the ancestral son of the woman,
Eve.

He not only conquered death, but, he
gave us the opporunity to attain this
as well. He became our suffering, in
the tumultuous world. He knows
our temptations. He knows our
wretched infirmities and pain.
He was stricken too.

Thank you Hashem Adonai Y'shua.

I rejoice in my spirit to think of
the splendor which awaits us
with you. You have promised
that we will have a "healed"
Earth for 1000 years.

The completion of your victory
over our adversaries gives me
confidence, not sorrow. I know
that you are coming.

Even if my own two eyes don't
witness this event, I know, in
my flesh, I will see God, not
another in another body, but,
me.

I long to see the face of perfection.
I dream of a world where He still
visits, and dwells in and among.

I look forward to a chance to really
know Him, and not another. WIth
our own eyes, we will all see him.

He promised.

Thank you Lord God, in the name
of Jesus.

The road is long and sometimes hard

It's hard to pick up momentum, when you're doing a study
like this. Introspective induction studies are commitments
that often are excruciating. If I'm having a bad day, I'd rather
spend my Bible time in fluffy psalms, than the Book of Revelations.

No matter what mood I'm in when I approach this book,
makes it any easier. I almost black out from too much
information, and a complete dark cloud hides the sun
and it's hard to describe the fatigue. It's not like any
other kind of depression, or PMS. It's hard to cheer
when you see the end of the world.

In fact, it feels terrible.

I confess this to our Lord, because it is a rebellious
attitude I have. If I had the faith that I would
love to possess, I would be elevated by so many
prophecies unfurling, everywhere. It's like
those holy synchronicity sequences, which feel
good, at first, but, after two or three days, are not
pleasurable.

I love prophecy, God's mystery, and most of all,
I love Christ, more than any other thing. I love
my dad and my cats, but, the love I have for
Jesus supercedes my love of life itself. I want
to be where he is. I want to always see him.
I am terrified that I am not saved. I am
terrified that he'll turn me away, tell me
shoo, go away.

I pray most of all, to be faithful to the truth,
and to learn from the Holy Spirit. I pray that
he is more, and I am less. I am so serious.

All my senses can perceive ecstasy as he
comes closer, yet, I can't see him. On grey
and cold, rainy days, like today, I can't
feel him, and that's when I'm crushed by
a fatigue and depression.

It's a holy roller coaster ride, and while
I may be somewhat manic-depressive
through this intensely powerful spiritual
sojourn, I have to find him.

I'm not alone, halleluyah, and I know that
thousands of other brothers and sisters,
are experiencing the same exact thing,
maybe more intensely.

I was always a horror genre film noir
fan, and nothing science fiction, or
profoundly scary, can compare to the
terror of recognizing the Lord of hosts,
heading right at us.

He's been here all along, but,
Christians were probably praying
on the wrong day.

A Sabbath is a sabbath by his
decree, not ours. I think this
error is pretty serious.

It's a joke to see the division in
the Church of God, arguing like
the other is better or worse
over mundane things, when
the big errors, according
to his judgement to the
7 churches, were the
MYSTERY RELIGION of
Babylon the Whore.

This is a riddle, that's
been unsolved, despite
all the seminaries, combined.

They all still call another day
the Sabbath. And I feel pretty
grieved at the poverty of the
soul, during this decadent
and sinful time of year,
validated by the name
of the Lamb of God,
the Messiah,
Jesus.

Praise you Lord, for your glory.
Forgive us for our weariness
deafness and blindness. Let us
hear your voice. Let us see
you, and please forgive our
abundant sins.

Man cannot justify himself
to a perfect Creator. My
knees are weak, and I
cannot stand on my feet
when I think about seeing
you face to face, Hashem
Adonai.

I confess to my emotional
breakdown when it comes
to understanding what's
going to happen. Through
the Word, we are given
your wisdom and light.

Yet, what do we see when
the lights are on? I see a
scary place, and I'm scared
of everything sometimes.

I should have more confidence
and faith, yet, fear is something
that only true connection to
the Holy Spirit can appease.

The less of me, the more of
Christ. I want to fade away
to be born again looking like
an apostle. In my soul, I can see
him. I know I am not worthy
to touch the laces of his
sandals. Yet, he's also
sympathetic to our
imfirmities, even our
sins.

Thank you Jesus, for bearing
my stripes, and the stripes of
all my people, Jew and Christian,
and everyone else. The Creator
is the God of all, of every spec
of dust is his.

Thank you for being the LOGOS,
and the Living Word. Thank you
for letting us feel that bond, and
share it with everyone.

Please have mercy on this world,
and every person suffering, in
pain, hungering in belly and soul.
Lord, we are famished and ashamed.
We strut around proudly, like we
own this place.

Have mercy, and forgive us.
You promised to forgive all
who come to you in faith.

As we get closer, help us to
understand your word. Help
us to see the angels all around
us.

Thank you for the angels.
Thank you for life.

Praise your Holy Name.
Barak Hashem Adonai

We long to know your
new name.

Rev.2:18 Thyatira- The Fourth Church

THYATIRA

Thyatira Rev. 2: 18-29 (now called Anatola...)

The last of the four churches, in Rev. 2, is
the church in Thyatira. This church has
12 serious lines of prophecy.

Within these first 4 churches, of the
Judgment, The Day of the Lord, in
John's visions, are layers of cascading
wisdom for us, if we let the Holy Spirit
dwell in us, as a light.

Rev 2:19
I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first.

The words that pop out are : charity / service /
faith /patience works.

Rev 2:20
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee,
because thou sufferest that woman JEZEBEL,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach
and to seduce my servants to commit fornication,
and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Jezebel / prophetess / fornication /
spiritual / adultery

Rev 2:21
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication;
and she repented not.

REPENT FORNICATION -
spiritual adultery

This is ongoing for over 1900 years,
in the church.
Rev 2:22
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that
commit adultery with her into great tribulation,
except they repent of their deeds.

TRIBULATION.

Rev 2:23
And I will kill her children with death; and
all the churches shall know that I am he
which searcheth the reins and hearts:
and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works.

REPENT of the false religion
enthroned in Christianity, from
the time of John's Book of Revelation,
and probably predating history,
before mankind even began.

JEZEBEL was the wicked Queen of Israel,
when Israel was apostate, during Elijah
and Elisha's days. She persecuted Elijah.

Elijah did not taste death, but, was carried
up to heaven by the Chariot of Heaven.

This is important imagery to bring back,
because, as Elijah was translated up
to heaven... in a visible manifestation
of God, (See Ezekiel) we are given a
parallel prophecy in the rapture.

He never tasted the first death. We
may also partake of that same experience.

Elijah was a loner in the wilderness,
save for Elisha, his prodigy. He had
no official synagogue because they
were entirely apostate, like they
are today. Today, the Churches are
practicing heresies, of the counterfeit
religion, given by their rulers, often
evil like Jezebel, who became the
prophetess, and corrupted Israel.
Likewise is this church corrupted.

We need to break away, and like
Elijah, be a voice crying in the
wilderness. Like John, the Baptist,
we need to break free of false religion,
and get clean.

Apostolic Christianity, far different
from our Christianity, was replaced
by a counterfeit.

The Church is Jezebel, the Whore
of the Beast. The mystery religion
is deep. It's corruption is hideous,
and while we can't see it, God sees
all. If we put up Christmas decorations,
or call Sunday, the Sabbath, we
have been lured into this church.

We need to come clean. We need
to turn our hearts to God, and
remember from how far we have
fallen. We need to put away the
mystery religion, and not partake
of things that relate to it, like
Christmas, or the changed
Sabbath. This will be hard
for us, but, do we follow man
or God?

Brother, let's take hold of this
and fall on our knees to God,
and let him cleanse our spiritual
infirmities.

Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto
the rest in Thyatira, as many as have
not this doctrine, and which have not
known the depths of Satan, as they
speak; I will put upon you none other
burden.
Rev 2:25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast
till I come.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my
works unto the end, to him will I give power
over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron;
as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken
to shivers: even as I received
of my Father.
Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
_________________________________
Rev 22:16

I Jesus have sent mine angel
to testify unto you these things
in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.

_______________________________

Rev 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The only other place morning star is used is
in Isaiah, against Satan, Lucifer, who is
constantly trying to usurp God, on heaven,
or in the principalities of Earth's kingdoms.

Isa 14:12

How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
[how] art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the
nations!

The Forbidden Fruit

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Wow. Look no further for the reason why we are the
way we are. Mankind, the family of Adam and Eve,
began with a FALL.

How great was that fall? The world around us still testifies
to the nature of Cain and Abel. Nothing has advanced.
In fact, we've de-evolved as a species.

In Genesis, the original Adamic race lives for up to
1000 years. This was the original design. Even
that was pale from the glory to come, which
is Christ.

When John sees him, in the Book of Revelations, he
is literally resplendent, in brass colors, gleaming.
He is the literal brass serpent, in prophecy.
He possesses the healing, because, he is LIFE
conquered and victorious over DEATH!

The Apocolypse is not the end. It's the
beginning, just like in Genesis. It's
a glorious circle of grace, which is
like infinity. The constant reconstitution
of life is the nature of the One who possesses
life, to begin with. God is the First, and the Last.
Without him, there is NOTHING!

Yet, knowing this was not good enough for
the original parents of the human race.
These two resemble all of us, tempted,
tempted, tempted, to see, to taste,
to become more grand in ourselves,
until we trivialize God, the Creator,
who is denigrated to a servant, to
serve our capricious desires.

From the beginning, the flesh was
powerful, and the carnal knowledge
of all things, had a delicious appeal
to our ancestors, as it remains today.

Only Christ changed this paradigm,
but, ironically, he was then transformed
into the same vain flunkie. Our own needs
became too intense. We have a need to
know good and evil. It's too tempting.

Genesis 3

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.
Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
