Rev.2:18 Thyatira- The Fourth Church

THYATIRA

Thyatira Rev. 2: 18-29 (now called Anatola...)

The last of the four churches, in Rev. 2, is
the church in Thyatira. This church has
12 serious lines of prophecy.

Within these first 4 churches, of the
Judgment, The Day of the Lord, in
John's visions, are layers of cascading
wisdom for us, if we let the Holy Spirit
dwell in us, as a light.

Rev 2:19
I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first.

The words that pop out are : charity / service /
faith /patience works.

Rev 2:20
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee,
because thou sufferest that woman JEZEBEL,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach
and to seduce my servants to commit fornication,
and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Jezebel / prophetess / fornication /
spiritual / adultery

Rev 2:21
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication;
and she repented not.

REPENT FORNICATION -
spiritual adultery

This is ongoing for over 1900 years,
in the church.
Rev 2:22
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that
commit adultery with her into great tribulation,
except they repent of their deeds.

TRIBULATION.

Rev 2:23
And I will kill her children with death; and
all the churches shall know that I am he
which searcheth the reins and hearts:
and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works.

REPENT of the false religion
enthroned in Christianity, from
the time of John's Book of Revelation,
and probably predating history,
before mankind even began.

JEZEBEL was the wicked Queen of Israel,
when Israel was apostate, during Elijah
and Elisha's days. She persecuted Elijah.

Elijah did not taste death, but, was carried
up to heaven by the Chariot of Heaven.

This is important imagery to bring back,
because, as Elijah was translated up
to heaven... in a visible manifestation
of God, (See Ezekiel) we are given a
parallel prophecy in the rapture.

He never tasted the first death. We
may also partake of that same experience.

Elijah was a loner in the wilderness,
save for Elisha, his prodigy. He had
no official synagogue because they
were entirely apostate, like they
are today. Today, the Churches are
practicing heresies, of the counterfeit
religion, given by their rulers, often
evil like Jezebel, who became the
prophetess, and corrupted Israel.
Likewise is this church corrupted.

We need to break away, and like
Elijah, be a voice crying in the
wilderness. Like John, the Baptist,
we need to break free of false religion,
and get clean.

Apostolic Christianity, far different
from our Christianity, was replaced
by a counterfeit.

The Church is Jezebel, the Whore
of the Beast. The mystery religion
is deep. It's corruption is hideous,
and while we can't see it, God sees
all. If we put up Christmas decorations,
or call Sunday, the Sabbath, we
have been lured into this church.

We need to come clean. We need
to turn our hearts to God, and
remember from how far we have
fallen. We need to put away the
mystery religion, and not partake
of things that relate to it, like
Christmas, or the changed
Sabbath. This will be hard
for us, but, do we follow man
or God?

Brother, let's take hold of this
and fall on our knees to God,
and let him cleanse our spiritual
infirmities.

Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto
the rest in Thyatira, as many as have
not this doctrine, and which have not
known the depths of Satan, as they
speak; I will put upon you none other
burden.
Rev 2:25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast
till I come.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my
works unto the end, to him will I give power
over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron;
as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken
to shivers: even as I received
of my Father.
Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
_________________________________
Rev 22:16

I Jesus have sent mine angel
to testify unto you these things
in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.

_______________________________

Rev 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The only other place morning star is used is
in Isaiah, against Satan, Lucifer, who is
constantly trying to usurp God, on heaven,
or in the principalities of Earth's kingdoms.

Isa 14:12

How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
[how] art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the
nations!

The Forbidden Fruit

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Wow. Look no further for the reason why we are the
way we are. Mankind, the family of Adam and Eve,
began with a FALL.

How great was that fall? The world around us still testifies
to the nature of Cain and Abel. Nothing has advanced.
In fact, we've de-evolved as a species.

In Genesis, the original Adamic race lives for up to
1000 years. This was the original design. Even
that was pale from the glory to come, which
is Christ.

When John sees him, in the Book of Revelations, he
is literally resplendent, in brass colors, gleaming.
He is the literal brass serpent, in prophecy.
He possesses the healing, because, he is LIFE
conquered and victorious over DEATH!

The Apocolypse is not the end. It's the
beginning, just like in Genesis. It's
a glorious circle of grace, which is
like infinity. The constant reconstitution
of life is the nature of the One who possesses
life, to begin with. God is the First, and the Last.
Without him, there is NOTHING!

Yet, knowing this was not good enough for
the original parents of the human race.
These two resemble all of us, tempted,
tempted, tempted, to see, to taste,
to become more grand in ourselves,
until we trivialize God, the Creator,
who is denigrated to a servant, to
serve our capricious desires.

From the beginning, the flesh was
powerful, and the carnal knowledge
of all things, had a delicious appeal
to our ancestors, as it remains today.

Only Christ changed this paradigm,
but, ironically, he was then transformed
into the same vain flunkie. Our own needs
became too intense. We have a need to
know good and evil. It's too tempting.

Genesis 3

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.
Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Revelation 2... PERGAMOS- Where Satan is enthroned. THE MYSTERY RELIGION.

The Third Church Pergamos is said to be enthroned
where "Satan's seat" is... Why is that? He's accusing
the church of being led by Satan, literally. Yet, this
church prospered. It's sins were grievous, because,
this is the beginning of spiritual adultery, which we
suffer from, to this day.

Pergamos

Situated above the first two churches in Asia Minor,
Pergamos was an illuminated city. It had one of the
most impressive libraries, and it was a seat of learning
and medicine. Yet, it is called the seat of Satan!

In his day, the city of Pergamos was consdered
the most "new age," for sure. The city was
dedicated to the god of healing Escupulius
depicted as the climbing serpent... on the
staff.

We meet the serpent in Genesis, who is identified
as the devil. The interesting language also
reveals how crafty he was. Here, in educated
and scientific Pergamum, he is enthroned,
literally, and more disturbingly, alongside
the Angel of the Church. This signified
there was great warfare in the Angelic
Realm. This is the real deal. God's final
testament for our generation.

Whether we kick against the goads,
or not, we need to wake up and smell
the manna. We are in the greatest days in
the history of mankind's struggle with
good and bad. It all began in Genesis,
in the Beginnings, that the knowledge
of good and evil was when we were
corrupted.

Our intellectual potential, as a species,
is limitless, in some ways, because we
have the soul of many generations
combined. Our potential is certainly
unlimited, because we were created
by a perfect God.

John, is writing this admonition to
the faithful, at the end of the
first 100 years of Christianity.
He is given the words by Jesus.

He saw it. It happens. It happened.
There is another dimension where
we don't have the keys. We are
mere carbon chains.

We will be given the constitution
of the Omega Man, the body
of Christ, and literally, we will
be transformed, from image to
image. We will be us, but, we
will have the original genes,
without disease. We will live
for up to 1000 years, like they did
in Genesis. How stunning that
in knowing this, we are stunned
by the recognition of how real
this PROMISE is.

Our faith is challenged in a fire.

John, was blessed. As the youngest
brothers of Jesus, he was certainly
at his right hand. At least DaVinci
painted him that way!

John was his beloved. This servant and adopted
brother, was Mary's son in the end. Can we
recognize the tender poignancy in our
eternal genes in Christ, the firstborn of
the dea? Do we believe what Christ
promised to deliver?

Don't despair, if you feel like you're
being tested by this. I get depressed
when I think of hopeless things, like
the world ending, but, I need to now
feel the reality, of a new world coming,
with the Messiah. Christ, of the Nations.
Christ, the King of Kings, and Lord of
Lords.

Back to Pergumum, this city adapted
to Christianity, at first. Christ was popular
all over Asia Minor, on the western
coast of Turkey, near Greece.

You can understand the jealousy the
craftsman, priests and tradesmen
were bitter. They were losing prestige
and losing out on the heart of the
infected Christians, in religious rapture.

Ultimately, the cunning gnostic adherents
were totally successful in usurping the
original meaning of it all, by giving glory
to the Mystery Religion.

As people who seek God, it makes
us call out to our Creator. We want
to believe. Our heart feels calm
when we do. But, our faith structure
is weakened, because of the infiltration
of vulgar rituals and other perversion
of the original story of grace and
redemption in God, through Jesus
Christ.

The magicians of Pharoah had magical snakes,
that turned from staffs to snakes, which beguilled
the people, but, it was a cheap trick. real Harry Potter stuff.

Profoundly, Moses' staff became a snake,
too, to demonstrate how magic is no match
for the power of God, himself. Moses' staff
not only came alive, but, ate the Pharoah's
magicians snakes. The original wins out
by it's greater strength. We can't change
the matrix of our Universe, to compete
with perfection.

This is beyond Harry Potter stuff, or silly
Aleistair Crowley's heroin saturated, vile
parodies.

Not only did God show his power through
Moses' staff, but, whenever anyone was
sick, the brass rod/ staff HEALED them.
The Brass Serpent of God

Is it a coincidence that the Roman god, Escupulus,
as a patron of healers is shown with a snake rod like
Moses? Or was it more like Pharoah's magical serpent,
a far less effective power.

We know that Christ signifies Pergamum, whose
patron was represented with that powerful
emblem of strength and dominion, the
staff intertwined as a snake. It seems to
be no coincidence, even if it's convolluted
to jump off from there , to how we're now
corrupted by Sunday worship and Christmas,
because of the beguilling duplicate of God,
which constantly seduced the nations who
followed Christ .

From the start Judaism was undermined, and
regularly injected into pagan doubles, by being
the real thing, originally. This is a great parodox,
as well as an intentional irony. It is with sober
reflection that these things are revealed.

Judaism was constantly bombarded
by pagan religions, from the golden calf
of Aaron, to over 1000 years later, in
Jeremiah's day, when he lamented
about the spiritual poverty of his people,
who were about to be judged, and sent to
Babylon because they worshipped the
Babylonian Mystery Religion.

These heretical detours is seen in the
"Babylonian Talmud," where Babylonian
laws polluted the Torah's laws given by
Moses. This was the shame of the
Hebrews, and why they were accursed, as
God warned them in Deuteronomy 28.

It's never okay to mix pagan relgions with
JHVH and His covenant, and symbols.
Woe to those who have light for darkness,
darkness for light. We cannot be in the
dark and stand before God while justifying
these adulterous rituals, which God did
not ordain. We are part of the mother
of whores, Babylon the great.

This is just the surface of the mystery
of Babylon in the Book of Revelations.

Jeremiah makes this observation of how
the Jews were worshipping the pagan
mystery religion: Jeremiah 10

er 10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Jer 10:5 They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good.
Jer 10:6 Forasmuch as [there is] none like unto thee, O LORD; thou [art] great, and thy name [is] great in might.
Jer 10:7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like unto thee.
Jer 10:8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock [is] a doctrine of vanities.
BABYLON THE WHORE

Jesus was telling his brother John, that
Satan was ENTHRONED there in Pergamus.
He doesn't use that figuratively, at least, not
in it's first level of interpretation.

Considering the economic way Satan is
mentioned in the Bible, with no more than
a tiny pinch of salt, to flavor the strong
morality of the Bible, it is important to
take this revelation at face value, before
symbolism.

What do we know of Pergamum?
We know it was part of a crescent of
churches in Asia Minor, Turkey, on
the W. Coast. Ephesus was a city
dedicated to the patroness Diana.
The Temple of Artemis was one
of the great wonders of that era.
But, Diana was not the virgin
huntress, depicted, but, a fertile
mother. Mary and Diana were fused.

This is part of the mystery religion,
not that some cult somewhere practices,
but, what is going on in the CHURCH
OF CHRIST JESUS- starting with
Pergamos.

Pergamum was dedicated to enlightenment
and science. Escalapius stood high
as their emblem, and perhaps god.

They were modern, by ancient
standards. They were more refined.
They intellectualized religion, accepting
it on their terms, not on face value
of what the Apostles brought forth,
as a foundation, which was the religion
of Moses.

These six verses in Rev.2, are not
hollow reiterations of threats, warnings,
musings and compliments. They are
JUDGEMENTS GIVEN TO THE CHURCH!!

They have great significance for us, too,
because all of these churches imparts
to us, our Christianity, no matter what
denomination we are.

In Pergamus, the Apostolic teachers
were eventually replaced by Constantine's
ruthless bishops, who forever changed the
religion, taking all of the Judaism away,
and injecting all of it's paganry and
pageantry, pomp and Christianity has
thus been in Purgatory, metaphorically
speaking.

Merry Christmas, y'all. That's what
it's all about in Pergamus. It's a serious
allegation Christ is making to this Church,
and to the ages. He's saying that using the
Gnosticism of the "Nicolaitens" was anathema.
He's saying that worshipping in their style,
on their feasts, was wicked. He's condemning
Christmas, and all the other man-made
accomodations to the mystery religions
of the ancient world, which appealed to
the flesh.

That's why Christmas is a snare, now. Who
wants to give it up? Can we? I can't do it
entirely. I don't want to disappoint the
children in my life, or seem ungreatful
to my friends. I'm not better than anyone,
and maybe I'm even worse, because, I
have a spiritual revulsion.

But, I implore my brothers and sisters in faith
to observe this, and maybe we can start to
adhere to Christ's powerful admonitions.
This is important for us, in our day.

The Nicolaitens, were the double agents of
perdition, cloaked as clerics, priests, and
bishops, but, took Christianity and gave it
a pagan theme. Mary, in Ephesus, became
the new Diana/Isis/ Goddess. Christ becomes
the sungod, etc... The mystery relgion is
important in Revelation. It's part of the
final show down.

Was the mystery religion significant in
other ways? It corrupted Solomon. He
lost the inheritance of his father David,
and it was because he built shrines to
Isis and the ancient gods, beginning the
justification of ecumenical evolution.

It was something that crushed him
as an old man. He implored us not
to follow in his footprints, because
he went astray.

Solomon was lured away, the same
as Rebecca, the wife of Isaac, mother
of Jacob. The religions of the world,
which have catchy celebrations, like
the Saturnia turned Christmas, of the
ancients, where he feast on delicious
delicacies, and indulge in other sensual
delights, acknowledging vain things like
tinsil, lights, and other decorative celebrations
of the sungod, not Jesus.

What Christian doesn't celebrate Christmas,
in some way, though? Or if they don't
acknowledge Christmas, they're so legalistic
that they lose Jesus, anyway.

We need to follow Christ in his footsteps, not
the ones we have been brainwashed to observe.
We need to confess that we have been duped,
and learn from our mistakes.

Pergamum didn't learn, but, maybe we
shall overcome, and with the power of
God, we will be part of the ultimate
REVOLUTION!

The false Christianity is depicted as a
harlot by Christ. He compares her to
the Babylonian queen and Jezebel, the
Queen of apostate Israel.

The key word is "apostate." Jezebel
was the Queen of the Northern Kingdom
of Israel, in Elijah's day. Israel was thoroughly
perverse, cut off from Jerusalem, where
only the tribes of Benjamin, (Levi) and Judah
remained.

She is the symbol of the Harlot. She is
given the title Queen of Babylon because
Israel was perverse by worshipping the
Babylonian religion, not the religion of
their fathers.

Israel is Babylon. The Whore of Babylon
is the Church.

It's important to hear what God is saying,
and obey his WILL. He is saying that
in the most civilized and educated places,
the mind can play tricks on us all. WIth
education, we get cocky, and too sure of
ourselves. Yet, even Evangelical and Biblical
Fundamentalists today worship Christmas.

It's a small thing, but, it's really huge, when
you get to the heart of it.

The church at Pergamus was entrenched in
learning and science, but, as the most erudite
and possibly educated and wealthy place, it
was easier to keep the pagan holidays and
legend, updating them with Jesus and Mary,
the Apostles replacing the former gods and
goddesses, from Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

This is the Mystery Religion, Babylon the
Whore, the false Christianity, representing
Christ, without his authority, and signature.

Would God change the Sabbath day? Man
did just this, in blatant rebellion. Did Christ,
or the Apostles decorate trees, or did they
observe only the traditional feasts of Judaism
like Hanukkah and Passover?

Why would Christ be born in the winter,
when it gets cold in Israel in December?
He wasn't born in winter, but, in Autumn.
This would be the time when a family
of Judah, up North in Gallilee, of Gad
and Naphthali, would make the trek to their
tribal home, which for them, was the City of
Judah-David, Bethlehem-Judah.

I believe they went home for the Holy Days,
and the New Year. What better time to do a
census, than the New Year, at the High Holy
Days when custom was to go back to their
nativity?

Why am I rambling? Because Christmas
offends me. Maybe I'm way off, here, maybe
I'm not. I feel nothing but evil this time of
year. More murders, suicides, and sin occur
during this wicked holiday, than at any other
time of year. It is not a time of goodwill. It'
is a materialistic, and hedonistic orgy of
bad taste.

We have to recognize this, and stop blaspheming
God, in these ways, which so offended him, 2000
years ago. We should stop allowing the evil anomally
and blasphemy to continue.

Christ never sanctified a winter holiday for his birth. He
was probably born in the autumn, but, his birth is veiled,
We were not to worship him as a baby, and
Mary, as the goddess Diana, Isis...

Yet, now, we disgrace Christianity by the
indulgences and sin, yet, wonder why Judgment
Day will be hardest for the Church?

We have to repent. All of us. We have to get
clean. The Lord is coming back! I tremble inside
thinking about how far off the Church is, all
of us.

I want to get it right, dear Jesus. I want to
be right with God, and right with my brothers,
as well as all living things. With God's strength
will I make it. Without God, I have no strength
to even live for another day.

Lord, I am another lost sinner, please guide me.
For all those on the same path, I pray that you give
them each your strength, spirit, courage, and serenity.

(My views on Christmas are shared by many, but,
rejected by most Christians, who truly love the Lord,
but, dwell in darkness, concerning the blasphemy.)

Do we get a free ride on things this serious? Can we
tell God that Sunday was a better day than the Sabbath
He ordained? Can we justify it by saying that Christ
rising three days after the crucifixion... wait a minute,
he was crucified on a FRIDAY, like in "Good Friday."
How does three days later become Sunday?

The reason the Holy Sabbath was changed
was to accomodate the new version of the
Mystery Religion, the Great Whore in
Revelation, the Mother of Harlots.

Christmas is this prostitute's orgy,
I guess. It's a wretched sight, made
even more stinging because this is
the way Christ sees the CHURCH.

The Church, like the one in Pergamus,
was where the whore tempted the
faithful, and became a harlot, with
other religions.

Do we fool God by telling him that we
"witness" during Christmas? We
listen to Handel's Messiah, and tell
the Nativity story, rendered weak
like a fairy tale.

Is it a positive reflexion of the power
and glory of CHrist, himself, not depicted
by pagan religions?

What kind of witness is this? How many parents
take their kids out to serve the homeless, and
take care of the needy and neglected? What kind
of witness is it for parents to camp out overnight
for a chance to spend a week's salary on a toy
for a spoiled kid, just because, all the other kids
get 1000 dollar Christmas bonanzas?

Shouldn't that spare 1000 bucks be spent
on those who are truly needy, homeless,
home-bound and elderly?

When did this get to be a spending, eating,
screwing frenzy of sensuality and exorbitant
decadence, by any standard?

How dare we put Christ's name on this.

I also tremble thinking how Sunday became the
"sabbath." This is even worse. This occurred
in the same sequence of changing the pagan religion
into a new one, with Christian landmarks, but, none
of it's power. Sunday cannot be the Sabbath. Even
if we don't observe the Sabbath laws, like not
working, we can't then change it to a new day.

This was a Satanic change.

In Daniel, Satan is revealed as the one who
"changes the times."

I'd say changing the Sabbath qualifies as a mark
of the beast.

Daniel 7

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

All of these Hebrew customs, established by
Moses, and Aaron in Leviticus and Deuteronomy,
are altered by the "educated" but conniving
agents of Satan, starting in Pergamus. This is
when Sabbath was changed, and when ancient
ritual days conformed to Christ, polluting, and
dilluting it. That's why Pergamus is doomed,
and doesn't exist as a Church today!

But, it's poisonous treachory did infect
the churches that became our inheritance.

Christ is telling Pergamus, and us, to
change, and get rid of the gnostic rituals,
and the mystery relgions of the ancients,
which do not honor God, but, corrupt
the hearts of humans, already inclined
to be selfish, indulgent, rebellious and
evil. Christmas is an example of this
hypocrisy of the modern church.

Christmas is the antithesis of everything
Christ stands for, too. Charity, not selfishness.
Modesty, temperance, humility, fly out the
windows. It's an orgy, and it's evil that
children are encouraged to believe that
material things are what matter.
Shame on us all.

On the surface, Pergamos is the most prestigious
center of learning and science, religion and progress.
Yet, the most vile things were happening beneath
the surface. It has some striking similarities to
Western nations, like the US, and Britain.

We can certainly heed the same warnings as
the original church, who received this prophecy
first.

Did they laugh at it, thinking that as scientific and
educated people, at the new age of enlightenment,
that this Satan talk was silly. Were they literally
the wolf in sheep's clothing, altering the nature of
Apostolic Judaism, into this mess, where Mary is
Isis and Diana, and Christ was just a reincarnation
of the deity Osiris...?

Their convoluted design of Christianity, ala
Constantine, in the 3rd C., began with the
Nicolaitens, the gnostic priests, who conformed
Christianity to the mystery religions.

This is the mark of Satan, from the start,
sowing tares among the good seed. He is
the spoiler, and spoiling Christianity, corrupting,
and raping it, probably was great fun for him.

The party's ending. Satan's not some South Park
invention. He's a glorious reflexion of God, inverted,
perverted, and rejected. He turned the world inside
out. With the help of man, he accomplished his
mission, to get brothers to hate one another. To
sow hatred, murder, terror and death.

The ultimate defilement is when the earth is
polluted by an even more toxic excrement.

Thinking about Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and that
area, as it is, today, it's very likely that these
lands will become eradicated and poisoned,
before too long.

Nuclear holocaust in the Middle East is not
a maybe.

That's why I take this study so seriously.
We've got to wake up, and open up to
the righteousness of God, as he is, not
how we have transformed his religions.

His religion is not decorated trees, cut down
in their glory, to be desecrated by gaudy things.
His religion is not to eat too much, drink too much,
spoil your kids, go broke for months, materialism,
hedonism, and blasphemy upon blasphemy.

We like to point the finger when we see those
who we think are "satanic." How many of us
feel that way about xmas? Yet, considering the
austerity of Christ, and the New Testament,
how can we stand before him, without shame,
for adapting him to an ancient satanic ritual
and custom, beginning in the ancient world,
before man was even created?

After each Church, Christ IMPLORES them
to wake up, open their eyes, and most of
all repent, and do the thing that was given
"at first" the "first love" which was Apostolic
Judaism.

We're fallen, and we don't know how to
get up. Yet we have great incentives to
admit our sins, and accept his forgiveness.
He has promised us "hidden manna."

He has promised us inheritance in the
Kingdom, and he has promised to be
merciful to all who come to him with a
humble heart, and contrite spirit.

I don't even know all the unwitting
sins I commit each day, but, just the
material ones I commit, are shameful.
Yet, I also rejoice that Christ has said
that he will forgive us our sins, when
we turn to him in faith.

I pray we all are awakened to his glory.
I pray every heart that wants to know
God, by any name, will be nurtured by
God, in Jesus. There are too many
Christians who have gone astray, and
it's time to be real about it.

We've got to go back to the original
religion of the Apostles, and ask God
to guide us there.

Hashem Adonai Amen.

Finally, who is Antipas, the martyr?
He opposed the transition of all the
pagan gods into a Christian theme,
and without his guidance, Constantine
allowed the false priests to change the
religion into a vain thing. He was killed
because he upheld the Judaism of the
Apostle's relgion in the Messiah, contrary
to the unscrupulous clerics of the day,
implied to be the agents of Satan, in
the seat of his empire on Earth,
which was Pergamus, in 90 -100 AD.

Numerically, Rev. 2:12- 2:17 has 6 verses.
This relates to man and the beast, 6 is the
number of man, and in Pergamus, it refers
to the Satanic realm, where Christ has been
replaced by the ancient gods of the pagans.

Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan's seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].

2 Peter - Today's pick and odd commentary/study

2Pe 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2Pe 3:15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2Pe 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know [these things] before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.

I included 2 Peter, because, it felt like the Holy
Spirit wanted me to include it. I love when
inductive study starts becoming interactive.

This is the strangest thing, how once a scripture
is added, out of order, a flood of things start
to link up.

I'm probably going to never edit these ramblings,
because, this is part of the SOAP process of studying.
There may be something I need to hear from God,
and this is a very special way to communicate.

I'm not saying it's like Magic Christianity,
or voodoo. Not everything we study is a
message from God. But, people who study
this way know that. It's hard to explain.
I like it because it feels like it's in the Spirit.
I'm always calm afterwards. It helps me.

But, back to the study today, I was led to
2nd Peter. Before I even wondered why,
I had it up, and maybe I've read this 18
chapter book, 4000 times, but, this was
one of those times, when my skin felt
electric. That's when you know you
are feeling the Spirit. It's a peaceful
blissful feeling. No amount of heroin
can accomplish the rush, I feel, when
this happens. Most Bible studiers
have had this happen. It's what causes
the addiction... An addiction I never want
to suppress.

I believe 2 Peter, along with the other Apostolic
Epistles, fits in nicely, when fine-tuning prophecy.
The Book of Revelations, cannot stand without the
foundation of the other books of the canon.

The Apostles had constant battles, undoing the
damage that Judaizers and false prophets were
doing, on the heels of their establishing each new
ministry. That's why there is such stern warnings
to the seven churches, in Revelations.

2 Peter is part of his actual testimony, and while
he's ostensibly not as prolific as Paul, his concise
words are powerful and moving.

Peter is not merely warning folks to listen to him.
He's imploring them to visit the Prophets, and
by these, he meant the 4 Major and 12 Minor
Prophets in the Hebrew canon.

When we visit and study the Old Testament,
and take that knowledge into the 4 Gospels,
and the testimony, in epistles and Book of Acts,
we don't need to say, "this is what Peter wrote,
or Paul said...."

The Old Testament, the guide that the Apostles
knew by heart, was their witness of the Messiah,
who was Yeshua, son of Miryam, a descendant
of King David.

There is no Judaism without Jesus, because of
this one thing. Genealogy was structured back
then, especially in the royal families of the world.

Jesus was not born a peasant, and his parents
were not hicks. They were both of royal lineage,
both Judah, and related to David and his sons.

Without Jesus, Judaism cannot stant. It is
structured for the Messiah to be the bloodline
of Judah, of King David...

(need to change color...too hard on the eyes!)

I laugh when someone says they are from a particular
tribe. Technically, all Jews are all things. It's absurd to
believe Jews know which tribe they came from.

Besides, you never hear, "I am a tribe of Gad." Hahaha.
No, everyone who "knows" their tribe, says they are
Judah, of course. Everyone wants to have royal genes.

As far as the business about Magdalene... I think she
went to Asia Minor with Jesus' mother, Mary. It's possible
she went to Ephesus, along with the Virgin Mary.

Could she have gone to France, or to England..?
Could she have been Jesus's wife? While she acted
like his wife, or consort, was she? She certainly
had the demeanor as a widow, waiting outside
the tomb, for three days. None of the others
were there. Not even Mother Mary.

I remember when my uncle died, and my
pious aunt sat for a week, on the hardest
chair in the house. When that was not
enough suffering, she sat on the ground.
These ancient rituals are thousands of
years in the making.

It's odd that Jesus, who made quite a
noise throughout the world, and who
had thousands of disciples, within 3
years, after he was crucified, you'd
think thousands would be in prayer
outside his sepulchre/cave!

Did his thousands of fans give up on him?
Think of the thousands who swarmed to
the Dakota, where John Lennon lived.
This is how Jesus' disciples would have
acted, too.

Only Mary was by his grave, for 3 days.
She was considered his signifigant other,
or betrothed, if the custom was being
followed. That would be an explanation
for why none of the Apostles and disciples
weren't there with her. Then again, they
may have all been afraid of being killed,
themselves! Mary didn't care.

To die for Christ is to live eternally!
Her faith, either way, is perfect.
She is a divine figure because of everything
she conveys as a true disciple. In fact, Christ
refers to us, his Church, as his betrothed,
so, Mary symbolizes us, as believers.

There are plenty of mysteries in the Bible,
but, there are things we are not enlightened
about. We do not know, and have no way
of knowing if Jesus did marry. The Gospels
don't say he did. It wouldn't be a sin if
he did. In fact, as a rabbi, of 30 years old,
it would be expected and respectable if
he did. It would be suspicious if he wasn't.
It's not that he had to marry, but, it would
be considered weird, if he wasn't, especially
coming from the royal tribe of Judah.

No matter what is truth, Mary Magdalene
mourned for him, by his tomb, not Mary,
his mother. This would seem to resemble
a wife's mourning.

It also made Mary Magdalene the first
preacher. She brought the news of the
risen Christ first. She came before Peter,
and the other Apostles.

Was Mary the dissolute woman, or was
that Mary, the sister of Lazarus? Or were
they the same.

Which Mary covered his feet, emulating
this verse from Song of Solomon?
"
While the king [sitteth] at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

This entire book of Song of Solomon is a spiritual
marriage between the Messiah and his beloved.
It also was real in Solomon's love for Shulamite.
In this important book, Jesus is linked to SOlomon,
as the Messiah. Solomon's entire existence, before
his apostacy, was a mirror of perfection in Christ.

When did Solomon fall? Why was the Kingdom
given to Nathan's lineage for the Messiah? It
states that Solomon's heart was corrupted. The
man had 1000 wives, and started building shrines
to Isis, and Osiris, to please his main squeeze,
a princess from Egypt. He wasn't a great parent.
His son Rehoboam was a terror. His treachory
cost the crown 10 of it's 12 territories in the
land of Israel.

Solomon corrupted something sacred, and he
is disgraced in the culmination of his life's works.
While he witnessed the actual presence of the Lord,
which few have been blessed by, his heart was not
perfect. He was a peaceful king, but, that was because
he was sissified, being raised in harems, himself.
He lived until a ripe old age, but, not without realizing
he had thrown away his inheritance by his folly.

His penalty was that his sons would not remain
on the throne. Even Jesus, was born from the
family of Nathan, David's other son. Joseph was
an ancestor of Solomon. The House of David,
stands for Judah in Christ.

Christ is true to his promises. Even though it's
been 2000 years, I have every hope and expectation
that he's coming back, for the millenium of the
7th day.

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Ten days obviously is a different time defined differently
than 24 hour days. Compare to the stumblingblock of
Genesis, where each day represents a huge amount of
time, for each day. Days are often relative, in the OT
and NT.

"A day is as a thousand years to the Lord." Peter
writes in his second letter:

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

What is Christ telling John, by signifying that many
in Smyrna, will suffer for 10 days? Why is the term
day used? Was that a literal sentence for religious
offenses? Was it 10 days between hasty prosecution,
imprisonment, and death by crucifixion, hanging,
or beheading?

Tribulation has come to mean the period of hardship
for the world, or for believers.

This is like being a Jew in Nazi Germany. This time,
the persecution, from the Muslims, may result in
literally 10s of millions of executions and beheadings.
Are we headed for such a tribulation?

The Bible says we are. The first holocaust gave birth
to Israel. WIth the final assault, against Israel, it is
very likely, that we shall see the arrival of New
Jerusalem.

He is coming from the far parts of heaven.
He is bringing us our salvation, but, even
more amazingly, he is bringing a new
world for us to abide in, for the next
1000 years. That's what the Bible
states.

Revelation 2 :8 Smyrna, the second church's judgement

Smyrna was very close to Ephesus, and it is not
surprising that their admotions are similar, with
enhancements.

Smyrna, the 2nd church has 4 chapters.

Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.

By the end of the First Century, there were deadly
seeds planted, by those jealous of Christianity. When
they couldn't beat them, many groups of Essene and
religious Jews tried to incorporate him into the old
religion, by the old religion, not the one of Moses, but,
the hybrid Judaism, mixed with Babylonia law and
worships.

Instead of the firstfruits of Jesus, there were constant
persecutors, like the great Pharisee Paul, who put
Christians to death, before he was blinded on
the road to Damascus.

Where was Paul? He was going around to these
7 churches and being an inquisitor and issuing
death to those who professed Christ as the
New Judaism, given to the pagan nations.

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

There was great persecution in the first churches in
Turkey/Asia Minor. They did overcome, even by
their deaths, since the Gospel thrived. Unfortuately,
the resistance to other philosophies, and religions,
constantly corrupted church after church, from
the days of the Apostles.

This is the proof, in the final judgment.

Again, the word of power is OVERCOME!

Christ overcame death. We are victors in him.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

The Fertile Crescent and the Seven Churches.

The churches of Revelation in the approximate origin of the family
of Adam, in the fertile crescent.

Genesis 2 = The Seventh Day

The Sabbath is established on the seventh day:

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This is tricky. After three verses of 7th day, we go back to the sixth day,
as a reflection. Man was created on the sixth day.

First day- God creates light.
Our mortal interpretation suggests that the first day
began at sunrise, but, it's the opposite.

The measure of a day, in Genesis, is from
night to day, not day to night.

Second Day- The heavenly skies,
the oceans and land began.

There's wiggle room for a version of
the "Big Bang" in this, too...
Even Darwin suggests that we started
in the sea. The Bible is in agreement.
The Sea proceded the land, and man.

Third Day - Grass and all flora.

Fourth Day- The Sun and moon.
I know this is challenging, but, this
is the order of creation, as spoken to
Moses, and communicated through
the writer of Genesis, whether Moses
or Joshua.

This is important, because the sun and
moon were given on the "fourth day"
for signs. Signs of what? Of 24 hour
days, and a new sense of "TIME."

Before the fourth day, each day was
most likely without our sense of time,
but, in the laboratory of God's realm.
Not to wax too sci-fi, but, this is how
the Bible begins, literally.

Fifth day- Life begins, first the creatures
of the air and of the sea, including and specifically
mentioning the mammals, the Whales!
This fits in somewhat with Evolution, if you
want it too.

We have enough scientific evidence to
know that all living creatures share the same
carbon bonds, peptide chains, and essential
physiology to the environment.

Are we evolved? No, not in my mind. We
are created from the same building blocks,
or dirt, soil, clay. We are different because
we were created in God's image.

Sixth Day- God creates the creatures of the
land masses. Man is created in this day, as well.
This again, fits in with Darwin, for those who
can't live without evolution.

Seventh Day is HOLY because it is the day
of rest. It's the first Sabbath. That's why
it is sanctified.

Gen 2:4 These [are] the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground.
Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Like a rain forest.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We are built from the same building blocks
as the other living things, but, when the
breath of God is given, it is life that
we are given.

God's breath, or Ruwach Elohiym is
the introduction to the Holy Spirit,
as well as physical existence.

Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

This is a tender passage. The Creator, plants a garden.
It is work to tend to a creation. This is what he did.
He created paradise for man, here on this planet.
Have we taken care of it? Have we tended to the
animals? Have we not only cared about our own
pleasures and pocketbooks. If the love of money
is the root of all evil, then, evil has finally taken
it's toll on Planet Earth.

That's why what is called Armegeddon is beginning,
and is blatantly obvious. For all our other sins,
we've destroyed creatures, and poisoned the
planet.

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil. The forbidden fruit.

What is this? It is easy if we look at this as metaphor, but,
we can't, because it was real. It is real.

Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Four parts, four heads.
First- Pison goes around the land
of Havilah, (where there is gold,
and precious stones.)
Second- Gihon- surrounding
Ethiopia
Third- Hiddekel- east to Assyria
Fourth- Euphrates- Babylon

Gen 2:11 The name of the first [is] Pison: that [is] it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where [there is] gold;
Gen 2:12 And the gold of that land [is] good: there [is] bdellium and the onyx stone.
Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river [is] Gihon: the same [is] it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river [is] Hiddekel: that [is] it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river [is] Euphrates.

It's important to regard that after man was created,
God put him in Paradise to maintain it for him.
He was a bondsman, or farmer, so to speak.

Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Every tree was given for fruit, and Adam's diet was
given as strict vegetarian. There is no room for
misinterpretting the original diet, of the original
man.

Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.

Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

He was cloned. That's what is being said.

Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The Angels are neither male or female, even though we
like to depict them as cutesy cherubic babies, and
supermodel babes with wings.

The Angels are magnificent, with the beauty of
God, but, are andogenous, by design. The design
of humans and other life on Earth was sexual,
by design.

That's why the corporate Godhead says,
"We will make man in our image."
That's why male and female are likened
to Hashm. Together, we are indeed a
unique creation from the angels.

It's not hard to then realize that
some of the Angels weren't pleased
with this new design. We possess
very little information on the War
in Heaven, the literal Star Wars,
but, we can recognize signs of them,
in today's events, which mirror the
prophetetic visions.

Sexuality was deliberately incorporated
into the perfect creation, in mankind,
and the animals. But, sexuality is
also the path to perdition for some,
who change sacred purposes of this
very unique act, from a heavenly
perspective.

Angels do not procreate, at least
before man was made, they didn't.

Genesis tells us of the fallen angels
who had sex with the daughters
of Adam's descendents. This
was a horrific thing, from all
perspectives. This led to the
2nd Fall, which was even evident
after the flood, where a giant race
dwelled in 1000 BC, during David's
lifetime.

Right now, though, I'm rambling on.
Forgive my SOAPY ramblings. It's
just that it gets so deep, every time
I go back to the beginning.

I believe each time, it's still only
scratching the surface!

Ephesus- First Church

Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

Sevens : seven verses in 1. 1 x 7. Seven stars, seven goldensticks,
seven angels, seven spirits, seven horns, seven streams,
seven churches, .... seven is the number of God. 7 x 1.

Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

This economical trinity is applied to the first believers,
the 1rst Century Apostles and churches. Labor,
patience, and intolerant of false teachings.

Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

The good news is that this church was persistant,
but, the latter premonition, is ominous. "Hast
not fainted."

Fainting is not always a bad thing, in the Bible,
because, it can precede great revelations, but,
this use of the english word, "fainted" is meant
to convey unconsciousness, not religious ecstasy.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

This is the fatal blows of a church. When we
use the pulpit to justify sins, and man over
God, then, it results from falling out of love
with God.

It's like a bridegroom coming back from out
of town, to marry his fiancee, and take
her to his father's house, as his wife. This
is how Jesus is portraying his relationship
with each church, not just Ephesus.

What if in between the passion of face to face
love between a couple, was dulled when out
of sight, and out of mind. What if a fiancee
was not faithful? That's the allegation always
levelled against Mary. That's why she left
Israel, and went to Ephesus.

This is God's divine plan. But, it's not easy.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

To get back, to where we once belonged,
we have to dig deep. We have to start with
the original God of man, the God of Adam.
We need to understand sin, the knowledge
of good and bad. Then we need to be illuminated
by the light of the Sun of Righteousness, our
Messiah, who redeemed mankind with his
blood, flesh and Spirit.

Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

These were false gnostic teachers, who connected
the Christ of the Jews, with the ancient gods, like
Osiris, Isis and their societies of intelligence.

Too many religions today put emphasis
on things that do not edify. This is inclusive
in this stern warning to all of us, descendent
from the first church, in Ephesus.

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

This is powerful to me, because, he is constantly
amazing.

The word that jumps out at me, is OVERCOME.
Greek word-
nikao {nik-ah'-o}

This word is used frequently in the NT,
specifically:

Strong's Number 3528 matches the Greek nikaonikao (Strong's 3528)nikao (Strong's 3528)nikao (Strong's 3528)nikao (Strong's 3528)nikao (Strong's 3528)nikao (Strong's 3528)

1) to conquer

1) of Christ, victorious over all His foes

2) of Christians, that hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes, and temptations and persecutions

3) when one is arraigned or goes to law, to win the case, maintain one's cause

To further appreciate the message to Ephesus, it's
helpful to reread Paul's stellar Epistle, to the Ephesians.
There are many goldmines in those messages, in
every conceivable sense.

Ephesus is the first church, and the foundation
for the other branches, in Asia Minor, and
then throughout the entire world.

They are warned to return to their first love,
which is God, in Jesus, and God who is
the Supreme Being. We've diminished God
in the Church, subdivided far beyond the
seven churches being addressed.

There is only one God, and whosoever
cannot approach the Trinity, shouldn't
teach false things. God sends them
delusions, in denigrating the God
of the Universe, and Jesus Christ,
the Lamb of God, who has the keys
to Hell and Death.

We need to accept God's mercy
and forgiveness. We have got
to stay clean, each day seeking the
Lord, by doing good, not evil, praying
and studying the Word.

Revelation 2

In Revelation 2, Ephesus is the first
of four judgments. There will be 7
judgments, but, the last three are
separate. It begins in Ephesus for
a reason.

The Holy Spirit, in Jesus, is worthy
to be the High Priest, and as the
son, He is worthy to judge.

There are four churches in the first
of the judgments, given in Chapter 2.

Jesus begins Judgement, in Ephesus.
I mused last week, that Jesus's mother,
Mary, (Miryam,) usurped the goddess
Diana, in Ephesus, literally. That is
where she went, with John the Devine,
who she was bound to, by Jesus, when
he spoke to them on the cross.

When John bonded his mother, Miryam,
to his young disciple John, he asked John,
to be a son to Mary, and to take her along
with him, wherever he goes. We can then
appreciate why there's Mary's traces on
Western civilization, more than Judaism
and Israel.

The orations of Paul, were powerful. In the
Book of the Acts of the Apostles, demonstrated
how they siezed the great pagan shrines, in
Asia Minor, and announced that the gods the
people were seeking, were a shadow to come,
of the God of Moses, Abraham, and their
descendants. Christianity was born,
in Ephesus, with Christ's disciples and
the Apostles in Turkey.

His most notable disciples were the
3 Marys, the 12 apostles, and disciples
like John. They began to preach in the
very powerful kingdoms of the former
Greek and Roman Empires, by design.

They changed the world, starting in
Ephesus. It's powerful.

Now he comes back, and what is left in Ephesus?
Even Diana, Zeus, and their imperial gods and
goddesses, are vanquished. Mary is accursed.
A hungry vengeaful god, with blood on his
teeth replaces the original supplanters. What
is happening here to alarm and frighten the
most intrepid saint?

Today, in this region, they behead Christians
for their faith, it's all but illegal, punishable
by death. Does modern Ephesus stand a
chance to be saved?

I think it does. The church was established
there. It was no accident that Mary and
the Apostles usurped the pagan god
dynasties. There is constantly this
irony in the Bible, especially in
Genesis.

his region, where Christianity sparked,
in the kingdoms of the nations.

This is the first stop for Jesus's tour
of the original churches.
