Genesis 26: The Lord's Faithful Promise

Gen 26:1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the
first famine that was in the days of Abraham.
And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the
Philistines unto Gerar.

______________________________

Famine is often a result of war, sin, and other human
conditions. It sometimes accompanies a dearth in
spiritual leaders, and the word of God, as well.
When we're faithful, we are given the rain in
season.

We learn, in Genesis, how God establishes His power
over human conception. He did this first in Abimelech's
household, when he didn't know Sarah was Abraham's
wife. He withheld conception from Sarah, until she
was 90 years old. He withheld conceptions with
Rebekah, too, as he will with Rachel. He can
ordain anything, even conception in a young
virgin like Mary.

It's obvious that this is His way of showing us HIS
supreme power over life, from conception. During
other struggles, we learn to trust God, and ask him
for our daily needs. Is this a burden for us? Not for
me. For me, the greatest meaning in my life,
is that I believe God sees me, and is my Savior.

"Abimelech" is a title, (melek means king, Ab means
father) for the King of Gerar **(this is the genesis
of Pharoah, the sungod King.) This Abimelech may
have been the first one's son. The beginning of
the LORD's great JEALOUSY is clearly in view,
even though Abimelech treated Abraham and
Sarah decently, all their lives.

Righteous kings have sons who have their own
virtue or demons, and the land changes radically,
the way it did when King Solomon's son terrorized
the nation of Israel, and splintered the dynasty,
removed the right to succession in Christ.
Mary was the ancestor of Nathan of David,
not Solomon of David (Joseph was son of
Solomon)...

Gen 26:2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down
into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless
thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these
countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto
Abraham thy father;

Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven,
and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed
shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge,
my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Gen 26:6 And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

Gen 26:7 And the men of the place asked [him] of his wife; and he said,
She [is] my sister: for he feared to say, [She is] my wife; lest,
[said he], the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah;
because she [was] fair to look upon.

Gen 26:8 And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time,
that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window,
and saw, and, behold, Isaac [was] sporting with Rebekah his wife.

Gen 26:9 And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she [is]
thy wife: and how saidst thou, She [is] my sister? And Isaac said
unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.

Gen 26:10 And Abimelech said, What [is] this thou hast done unto us?
one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and
thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.

Gen 26:11 And Abimelech charged all [his] people, saying, He that
toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

Gen 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same
year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

Gen 26:13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew
until he became very great:

Gen 26:14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds,
and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Gen 26:15 For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the
days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them,
and filled them with earth.

Gen 26:16 And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much
mightier than we.

Gen 26:17 And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the
valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.

Gen 26:18 And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they
had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the
Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham:
and he called their names after the names by which his father
had called them.

Gen 26:19 And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there
a well of springing water.

Gen 26:20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen,
saying, The water [is] ours: and he called the name of the
well Esek; because they strove with him.

Gen 26:21 And they digged another well, and strove for that also:
and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Gen 26:22 And he removed from thence, and digged another well;
and for that they strove not: and he called the name of
it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made
room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Gen 26:23 And he went up from thence to Beersheba.

Gen 26:24 And the LORD appeared unto him the same night,
and said, I [am] the God of Abraham thy father: fear
not, for I [am] with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply
thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

Gen 26:25 And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name
of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's
servants digged a well.

Gen 26:26 Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath
one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.

Gen 26:27 And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me,
seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?

Gen 26:28 And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was
with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath
betwixt us, [even] betwixt us and thee, and let
us make a covenant with thee;

Gen 26:29 That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched
thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good,
and have sent thee away in peace: thou [art] now the
blessed of the LORD.

Gen 26:30 And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.

Gen 26:31 And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware
one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they
departed from him in peace.

Gen 26:32 And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants
came, and told him concerning the well which they had
digged, and said unto him, We have found water.

Gen 26:33 And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city
[is] Beersheba unto this day.

Gen 26:34 And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife
Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath
the daughter of Elon the Hittite:

Gen 26:35 Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.

There are normally peaceful and reasonable
spirits, among each tribe, who want to dwell
in peace, next to their neighbors, with no
homicides on either side.

But, those whose hearts are full of hatred and
jealousy, there is nothing but darkness.
The original mark of Cain, is visible on Esau's
jealous frowning forehead, and he vows to kill
Jacob and wipe him out forever.

The wilderness inhabitants of Southern Palestine,
and Havillah (Egypt) was comprised of assorted
Hittites, Canaanites and bedoin tribes. They
grieved Sarah, and Rebeka, because their culture
was more vulgar, in their eyes, and many were cult
of Isis worshippers.

The Hittites and aboriginal tribes didn't want
Isaac's clan to live with them. They blocked their
wells. They were too successful, and wealthy, too
clever, and God blessed them. They hated them for
that, just like today many hate Christians and Jews
just for being who they are.

It's hard to rejoice when your children
marry them, like Esau did.
In Esau's case, his agenda against his birthright,
for selling it for so little, became a powerful
thing.

Esau lost his birthright, and lost what little light,
he had, and turned to darkness, like a black hole,
where no light shines. Eventually, his kin produced
Pharoah, a figure of the antichrist.

This is no shock to us, because, these seeds of
jealousy and hatred, are revealed by the way
literally all nations feel towards little Israel
today. This is evident of a supernatural event,
because, nothing the Jews have done have
warranted perpetual hatred and persecution.

Israel is the most hated nation on Earth.
That was the news today, on this very day, in 2007.
This is startlingly prophetic. It made my skin
tingle hearing this. The hairs on my skin stood
up, and I got that fiery rush.

God will stun the world. One day, our world
will see what hard-hearted Pharoah saw. Reading
about the Patriarchs also gives us a scope of the
genesis of the tyrants in Egypt, and Southern
Palestine, who hated the children of Abraham,
with devout murderous hatred and revenge.

That is like today, isn't it? Wouldn't the world
have forgiven Hitler, if he at least finished the
solution to all the world's eternal problems,
the scapegoat Jew, and Spirit-filled Christian?

The Third Reich is even bigger today, goose-stepping
all over the world, in the name of HATRED, murder,
and the revenge of Esau. How blind are the blind who
think their philosophy of death and murder is light,
and whose religion honors cutting the throats of
missionary children!

How utterly satanic does it need to get
down here on this polluted planet that
man defiled? Life means nothing to
millions of children, who like the Hitler
Youth, are deliberately raised on mantras
of hate and murder, murder and revenge.

They are lining up to use their bodies as
weapons of mass destruction, to kill a Jew,
to kill a Christian, to kill an atheist, to
kill anyone who doesn't bow to their dark
god, esau.

(Isn't this a parable of what we heard
happened in heaven when lucifer had
seething jealousy for the LORD?)

In 2007, the religion of the masses is
pornography, selfishness and greed,
seven out of seven sins. This is progressing
into more depravity and violence against
women and children, many who are bought
and sold to be raped and murdered.

Indonesia is documented to be one of the
harbingers of child prostitution, and Al
Qaida training centers. They are so viciously
antisemitic, that after their tsunamis, they
refused mercy aid from Israel.

The hatred of Esau. Hatred, depravity,
disregard for life, and kiddie porn
is bigger than ever because people are
so depraved, that only bigger taboos,
and behavior, as satanic as possible,
appeals to them, for the most demonic,
torture, rape and murdering innocent children.

Isn't that what the devil is all about?
Pornography isn't free speech, it's
the doorway to death eternal, and
certainly the betrothed of AIDS, and
ALL PLAGUES, we are experiencing,
as a precursor of DEATH ETERNAL,
where the worm dieth not, unless
we repent.

What a world. This is the world that
has always been. This is why we needed
God as our SAVIOR. The doxology of
grace that the Prophets and Apostles
knew in their heart is our salvation.
Jesus Christ, the promised seed,
in whom all seed of Abraham and the
world is blessed.

Am I my brother's keeper? That question
will determine the fate of nations, who war
against little Israel, brought back from
the Nations, from the ashes of millions
of witnesses.

Our world has been set up to create exactly the
same spiritual paradigm as ancient Egypt, today,
and the last Exodus will be an eye-opener for
mankind. It will be the end of the world, as we
know it, but, it will be the start of the new world,
where the carnal will does not compete or war
against God.

We should pay attention as well to
the next four books of the Bible more
than EVER, because it's coming down
fast!
